I got this game about 1-2 weeks ago (cause it was released earlier where I live) and i finished it in about 2-4 days.
-It was very short, and the only challenging thing was the bosses (mainly the last boss)
-the achievements are alright, and the gallery was cool
-There should have been more than 5 levels for $15:00 (more expensive where I live) but it is re-playable with different difficulties, which is good.
-Did they recall saying there was another part to the game?

Not Liberation Maiden specifically, but in Japan, it was released on cart with 3 other small games, as Guild 01.
We're getting the games (well, at least 3 of the 4) individually as downloads. The other two we're getting are:
Crimson Shroud - Some sort of RPG. Oddly, it's the only game in the collection that doesn't show gameplay footage in it's trailer (I think it's actually styled like a tabletop RPG, where your characters & enemies are pieces moving around a board, which is probably why they're not showing gameplay).
AeroPorter - An airport simulator, or something of the sort (from the gameplay I've saw, it looks like they were moving baggage from conveyor belt to conveyor belt, like some sort of puzzle game).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Sounds alright. But who plays air port simulators these days?
I would of expected some better games, buts just my view.
Um, there's still airport sims coming out today for PC so there must be a market for it. Simulation games are very popular on the PC side. Aero Porter isn't even a simulation though where you take care of an airport. It's more of a puzzle game that just happens to take place at an airport.
After struggling to survive boss one, and actually dying once against boss two, I get through the entirety of mission three without a hit! Maybe it means I'm getting the hang of this (lefty here).
Oh, and it's not as repetitive as you might think. While the gameplay is all about shooting things (spoilers), mission 3 threw in some light stealth missions, and had a change in scenary (spoilers end). There'll probably be even more differences for missions 4 & 5.
i think this game could give me the fun i had (still have) with ridge racer.
ridge racer is no perfect game, but the style of gameplay, visuals and music make it so awesome that i still play it sometimes even though i finished it 100% over 1 year ago ^^
i already felt in love with the music from liberation maiden. i listend to it on youtube and i have the theme of the first boss as my cellphone-ringtone. i love to hear that when people call me xD
it's so good i have to post it AGAIN!!!
Just finished it (because it's short, I took my time). I won't spoil anything, but that final boss was awesome (somehow I managed to win, without any damage to my health).
Again, I won't spoil anything, but that ending just screams "sequel" to me, lol.

Nintendo World Report: 8.5/10 (holy cow, a good review from NWR!)
For the good, they said while it was brief, the incentive for high score runs outweighs that, it has colorful visuals, easy to learn controls, cool bosses, and nice production values.
On the downside, they said there isn't much variety in enemies, and they're not that aggressive.

Have you tried Hard difficulty yet? Just wondering how much harder it gets.
its an AAA-production so if the sales are okay im sure this will get a sequel
Guild 01 sold pretty poorly in Japan, so even if Liberation Maiden sold "okay" in the U.S. and Europe, I'm not sure it's chances for a sequel are a sure thing.
I'm wondering if they'll go back and do eShop versions of Guild 01 games in Japan...... Maybe then if it does okay there as well, and Suda51 feels like it, it could get a sequel.
Guild01 is a very experimental service, and most of the games in here aren't really games, but ideas which have been made playable. While the entire package is interesting to toy around with, a lot of Japanese reviewers are saying that each of them is lacking that kind of impact and body which AAA titles should have. So I doubt this game will ever get a sequel. Especially since Guild02 is already in the works! (Featuring Keiji Inafune, who you might remember from such games as "Mega Man" and "Dead Rising")
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

Actually, I haven't tried hard difficulty yet, but that's only because I'm a lefty (so it's a tad bit more akward for me to play).
As for the non-agressive enemies part, I was just relaying what NWR's opinion was (it's not my opinion).

The Level 3 boss is almost impossible to beat on hard without losing a life!
I have been very tempted to slam my 3ds to the floor in frustration over it. Its those god dam web things you get stuck in i just don't know how you dodge them
Grgghh just talking about it upsets me lol

From every review I've read, Touch Battle Tank 3D is terrible all around (which is a shame, because I was looking forward to it).
Liberation Maiden, on the other hand, is a fantastic title with great production values, replay value, awesome bosses, ect. The only negatives are that it can get a little repetitive (like any other shooter), and it's a tad akward to control for lefties (although I'm a lefty, & love the game).
