Is anyone getting this odd error on their 3DS that suddenly goes to a black screen reading something along the lines of an error having occurred, please hold down the power button, etc.... ?
I've had it happen twice now, both times while playing Ghost Recon. The first time it happened at the precise moment I touched the touch screen (possibly a coincidence), and the second time it happened seemingly without external cause during a cutscene. It's frustrating and naturally makes me think there is something wrong with the device which I won't know until I play further with this game and others.
If anyone else has had it happen, please post so I and others can know if it's more common or a unique problem with either my device or the Ghost Recon software. thanks
Just had my first encounter with that message not 5 minutes ago while trying out The Sims 3. So you've already had it twice in the short time you've had the system. Wow!
I have had my 3DS since Friday and have not had this happen to me. My guess is that it could be the game, try a normal DS game see if it still does it.
Oh no!! I will be PISSED if all/most of the consoles are affected by this! No offense but I really hope this problem is just isolated to PAL systems....
Oh boy...I hope this isn't like the Wii errors at launch. This is the last thing I want to hear before picking up the 3DS tonight. Any chance it could just be the game? Maybe something about it caused the error. It could just be something with a few of the launch titles. If not maybe we can get (or there is?) an updated that will fix it soon.
I'm already seeing that its apparently pretty common. No mention yet of it happening with DS games. I'm sure they'll put an update out that addresses it soon.

Do you guys not get errors on your computers all the time? I'm sure this is easily fixable with a system software update. I've been playing 3DS for over a month and this has happened one time to me.
