Topic: 3DS Vs Vita. Why you prefer your choice?

Which is better IYO? (In your opinion) personally 3DS, because it's shaping to be once again a HANDHELD. Not a power house. Keep it light you guys. No trolling. Lol

Besides, Vita hasn't been released, and so no-one can offer an objective view on the console.

Yeah we can't make that many comparisons now because it isn't released as yet, so we'll just have to wait and see. Personally I'm a Nintendo fan so I support Nintendo, but I wish the 3DS had some of the nice features Vita has though...

In all honestly from what I can tell and impressions the Vita isn't that portable. I like to where good looking clothing and I have no place to keep a vita. It can't bee fit in a suit jacket like my phone or closed and put in my pocket like my 3DS. Only option is too where sweats and Cargo everywhere which isn't and option.

I also don't really have a need or use for it in my tech paradigm. I Currently carry with me.

My phone carries the music and aoo front. I(what's the appeal of Twiiter and foursquare one Vita) I vould see it becoming a music player but I stream music from the could something that but I have no pinning and I should be upgrading next year and my current phone will be my full time PMP.

I'm more or less worried how the vita will do in the public. Its launching during early the start of the ipad season with th e slew of new phones and Ipad down its neck. What does the vita offer that any products that already have marketshare don't.

@Shingi Dude that is the same point I made to a friend of mine! Lol. And @Nintenhero Same here man, and meh.. vita Features are everywhere now. I got a ipod touch 4g for facebook.. But I feel more comfy on a 3DS since its an actual gaming console. The ipod is good for apps. And as for Vita, ehh. I unno. I'll try tho for sure. But the games are basically the same ones on ps3 which i own... And barely play anymore... Until SC V releases...

Dual sticks that aren't a craptastic add-on. That's what appeals to me about the Vita. There are benefits of both handhelds but that's one of the biggest thing that makes the Vita > 3DS for me.

Well the Add-on isn't need for any games (expect maybe Kid Icarus).

While they don't seem to be too far the protruding sticks seem like they be a problem for pockets.

I picked 3DS because I like Nintendo games that can only be played on Nintendo systems. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon, etc. If you can't play those on a system, I'm not buying it. Doesn't mean I'm hating the other systems, just that I grew up with those series and those are the ones I want to continue to play.

I think two handhelds are so different!

one is more focus on unique experiences that offers things we havent experience yet like 3D in palm of your hand.

But

Playstation Vita offers power house with lots of features and games. Its like carrying around PS3 in pocket.

i think each offers sumthing different

and is aim at different gamers

i enjoy unique gaming and i believe nintendo are always pushing these experiences when create games and systems?

As for Sony they try strive for dominate over market and offer HD graphics with bells and whistles on top which great if thats what looking for.

but comparing them both is difficult. Which better?

It depend on what looking for in handheld.

I've had my 3DS since launch, and yes I was disappointed with it for a while; which then had me pumped up for the Vita. I have now changed my mind concerning the Vita, and am going to stick with the 3DS. I think that people gave it a bad hand because of the lack of games at launch (I did). But it won my heart, something that my two PSPs never did (Nor my DS)

@Aquari Yeah man I'm more comfortable with my 3DS to, I love and support Nintendo.

But I'm really curious about how the Vita will do at launch, the sales and what it has to offer that others don't, just like what @shingi_70 said.

Meh, Nintendo Gamers are different to Playstation Gamers so it all comes down to personal preference, they are some people who like both to. I like both Xbox and Nintendo.

I'm loving everything I've read about the Vita EXCEPT the memory card issue. Sony has taken it upon themselves to limit the system to only using special Sony brand memory cards which they're pricing at five times more than any other options. They're using security as their reasons but really it's to hose the customers. So, long story short, I'm not getting a Vita right away anymore because I do not feel the need to buy a small memory card for the same price as buying two new release Xbox 360 games.

Its not security. The PSP used a proprietary memory format. This is insurance for when the Vita does get hacked. The Hacker may not pay for his games but he'll buy the biggest memory card to store all his free games.
