I think its just a rumor, which is aimed on a prediction what nintendo is going for.
nintendo isn't going for the most intensive cpu's out there, so they just undercut it with a generation probably, and hope there info is right.

I serieusly hope its more then that, while it still with the gpu is going beyond xbox quality, i do find it a bit weak compared to what is possible atm. Because i'm hoping that the CPU really throws the Gpu towards its limits, and not limits it.

We will see.
