Is there any yet? I always thought the first Adventure Time 3DS was.

maybe Fractured Soul? I have the game and it's great(and infuriatingly hard at the same time) so at least for me it's a gem, but I don't know if it's "hidden" it might be more popular than I think it is.

I won't fall for this trick a second time! I still didn't find the gems they said to be inside my GBA SP

Ace Combat Assault Horizon for me. I got it for 4 bucks from Amazon (shipping actually was three times more expensive) and I put 50 hours into this sucker before achieving 100%. It looks good, it plays smoothly, sounds cool (diverse soundtrack) and has tons of stuff to unlock. 3D in this one is much better than in a lot of other games because framerate is pretty steady and ghosting isn't frequent.
I heard that Ghost Recon Shadow Wars is another one, but I didn't get it yet.

Shinobi. Great game and cheap to find, for now at least.

Looks like my recommendation (Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy) has already been mentioned, so I'll have to think of something else.

I guess I'll say Samurai Warriors: Chronicles. I'm not sure how much it costs now (or how easy it is to find), but it was a great title to just kick back with if you were in the mood for a lot of mindless action.

There are tons of missions, and I liked being able to switch between 4 different characters at will, and replaying missions with different sets of characters (there are over 40 to unlock).

Also, even though their combat abilities are highly exaggerated, every character is based upon an actual Japanese historical figure (other than your created character), with the game's story actually following major battles of Japan's "warring states" era.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

best racing game besides mario kart (but only because mario kart has online). a sequel would be an instant buy for me

This reminds me of the "scratch your melee disc to unlock sonic and tails" trick. :/

I think we're at the point where Atlus' games are no longer hidden gems. Well, maybe Code of Princess.
Not exactly a 3DS title, but the GB VC game Mole Mania is not that popular, which is odd, because it plays like a bunch of Zelda dungeons into 1 game.

Senran Kagura is a better beat-'em-up, though, imo. I'm not sure if either of those classify.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

Great game picked it up for 5 pounds on a whim only problem is its quite short but still excellent while it lasts plus there's the streetpass maps.

Fully agree about Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure just started playing it and loving every second plus challenge ramps up nicely.

If you love Final Fantasy music and rhythm games Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is a real gem.

Others have mentioned it already, but I just bought Shinobi for $5 and it's been a lot of fun. It's definitely a flawed game, but I like the art style and cut scenes, and the gameplay has been well worth what I spent for it.

A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.

took me a few hours(I think it was 5 or 6) and countless tries to get it.(weirdly in the second playthrough I got it in the first try )
but yeah I'm REALLY hoping for a guild 03!(but also hoping it comes after I get starship damrey, though I don't have much interest in Bugs VS. Tanks)

And I highly recommend 999 for anyone that hasn't played it yet.
