Re: As Switch Momentum Slows, Nintendo Expects Further Sales Decline Next Year

With global inflation and a US recession I think it's time for a price cut and Nintendo Selects. Let this thing go out with a bang. Pretty much everyone who wants a Switch has one by now. Let bring the "multi-Switch household" that Nintendo wanted to life and price in it a way that the outliers who are curious about the Switch can't afford not to buy one. If we're in swan song times lets sing, Nintendo!

Re: Soapbox: It's Time For A Zelda 1 Remake, Please

Tin Foil Hat Comment - Maybe TotK will tie up the whole "cyclical nature" of Zelda/Ganon/Link timeline and we can get a soft reboot of the series starting with a Zelda 1 remake in the style of the manual art. This would allow Nintendo to create a more cohesive Zelda story/timeline going forward.

@WoomyNNYes I can definitely understand that. However I'm a big believer in the fact that limits help drive creativity. You can see this with how Nintendo games are compared to a lot of AAA titles which seem to have a lot of fluff, huge budgets for graphics, and a lack of good gameplay. Not all AAA games are like that of course, but we see it happening more and more. I'm not sure how well Nintendo could keep its vision if it got bought out my Microsoft or entered the power race.

Re: Nintendo Of America's President Doug Bowser Issues Internal Response To Activision Blizzard Reports

@Dragonite89 What a completely baseless claim. Because he has a position of power he must have skeletons in his closet (possibly up to or including sexual harassment or rape?)? Chances are we all have some skeletons in our closet but that shouldn't keep anyone from doing or saying the right thing. Perhaps he's a good dude who has a generally good moral compass, is that not in the realm of possibility? Keep in mind this was an internal email. Its not "preachy" to send a good message and reinforce the fact that the entertainment company you help manage has its ship sailing in what seems to be a good trajectory.
