@Zebetite It's nice Nintendo decide to fix many of their bone headed design decisions but based on all reviews it feels like they didn't really bring anything new to the table. Lower scores probably reflect the sameness. Personally it looks too similar for me to even consider but that seems to be a problem with a lot of their content in recent years...
@Zeldawakening this is exactly the kind of ***** they love. minimal development cost so every sale - and there are probably tons - has a large return. it is absolutely shameful though. they're absolutely the worst. i had a healthy 10 year career there. would rather leave games entirely than ever go back.
Their online track record is abysmal. Maybe they'll put forth more effort into this but I'd be shocked if it proved to be anything more than just a small bump in the road for those who are determined to hack / mod their games.
Non-sense. Nintendo delays their games all the time. The games they DO release tend to be smaller games that they choose to 'complete' over the next 1 - 2 years. Lots of remakes, or re-skinning of existing games. The games the other first part develoeprs are making are significantly more complex and larger in scope. They're more ambitious.
@Pete41608 THQ is the publisher and announced that show for August. It's either a blowout reveal OR the game is getting delayed to next year. I'm pretty certain it's going to be delayed as there have been a number of behind the scenes developments that will uhh, hurt their ability to finish. But also, it's not coming for Switch...
@KBuckley27 what gameplay have they shown? literally just moves which are animations. i could point about at least a dozen issues... ref rotates toward the target while standing idle, her hands are quite large, ref idle popped as it mirrored incorrectly, characters weren't synchronized properly during one of the moves and i could go on and on.
@commentlife a physical release is far riskier than digital. it's a gimmick release - a bit of FOMO. I don't think the strategy indicates a lack of confidence in any way.
@patbacknitro18 That's really not how this works. Launch logistics are set well in advance - you can't just change them on a whim because a copy leaked.
