Seems cool - I tend to take a picture with my iPhone and Instagram it. I would use this stuff if it worked like Miiverse did - I share photos there all the time.

Only time will tell - the download size seems to be the full game - when compared to the original it is around the same - I'd be awesome after you verify you have the disc that it wouldn't be needed for playback of Luigi version, but not sure

@Moose_4 I feel weird for paying $50 and buying this twice - but I may end up doing it this time - not sure I can wait until September for something available next week ... decisions ... I'm betting that a brand new boxed version may have value in the years to come ...

Anyone else thinking of buying DLC and getting the boxed version to keep for display - brand new?

Sounds like a similar reason why Galaxy 2 was made - and that game is awesome - I'm sure this sequel will be great too!

I'm most excited by Super Mario 3D World, but most impressed with Pikmin 3

@Wiidsguy yea Ubisoft is a wonderful dev from what I can tell - ZombiU is amazing and Watchdogs looks great!

X and Bayonetta 2 look amazing and I couldn't tell graphically that they were behind X1 and PS4 - those look to be like awesome exclusives

Both comments seem logical and correct - create great games - people will buy the system - when a big install base is there it'll be a platform 3rd parties want to be on.

Showing off games works better in Nintendo Directs - rather than having a 2 plus hour show like Sony did where gameplay and showing the games was just boring on many accounts. - Not all the time but I liked N's approach this year

The AntiGravity is huge - it brings Mario Kart into the 3D realm like Super Mario 64 did!

Loved 3D LAND! - System seller for 3DS - can't wait to play its sequel on the Wii U.

It does have me wonder this seems like they may have another 3D Mario for release in a few years - will that be a Super Mario Universe game ...

I just upgraded to a 32GB card with 2.12 GB already taken up - I am very hesitant on downloading these big titles, but Animal Crossing may draw me in with the midnight release and it seems like a game I'd like to always have on me - this is my first Animal Crossing so I hope I don't regret it - as I won't be able to trade it in ...

@ferrers405 haha I don't - I've heard the hardware is nice, but the games have dried up - was mostly joking that the reason I might consider a Vita is to play PSP games

@SirQuincealot At this point the Vita is for PSP games - since there are no Vita games really ...

That is pretty great - I always have 3D turned on and have never noticed the hit on FPS - should be a rather exciting experience to see what 60FPS looks like in 3D

Not sure why this is needed until we have GameCube VC titles or an external GameCube disc drive that we can play on the Wii U.

@JaxonH that is great news - so titles that are on the Wii partition will be discounted when bought for Wii U.

Curious to those that have gotten discounted titles - do the VC titles stay on the Wii and simply get added to the Wii U with that upgrade charge?

I understand there is a process moving Wii to Wii U for VC - how does that work when I'm moving it to the same device, but different OS?

@banacheck what I'm saying is it will never be as deeply penetrated as the GamePad and developers won't invest the time needed to create top notch games for that experience.

There may be a few cool games, but not enough to warrant a purchase of the Vita. I doubt Ubisoft would invest in ZombiU for PS4 plus Vita - not enough people there to warrant it.

@banacheck that may all be true (thinking $500 will be the price for both systems) - but I doubt every PS4 owner will have a Vita - the bigger issue is developers won't create unique experiences for the Vita plus PS4 like are being done with the GamePad plus TV screen.

The move and Kinect had similar issues - unless everyone has it you can't expect people to have it. The great thing about Nintendo systems is that everyone has the GamePad or motion control - developers can create games with those being required as a result.

The real problem is in 20 years or fewer will Microsoft shut down those servers that authorize games to be played?

From a collector's standpoint and a retro gaming standpoint this console is dead the day it launches. I love the fact that in 20 years the Wii U can still be played - it may not have all of the online gaming at that point, but the discs will play just fine.

@skjia thanks - Ocarina of Time on my 3DS blew my mind how fun and unique it is. Skipped the Zeldas because the 2Ds were impossible when I was a kid - may reattack those after I finish the 3Ds.

I've finished my first 3 day cycle of Majora's Mask and can tell this is gonna be a fun one - kinda like Groundhog's Day Zelda Style - pretty awesome - can't imagine the people playing this on Virtual Console though - the controller is great for this kinda game.

Having just finished Ocarina of Time for the first time I'll be moving onto Majora's Mask on the N64.

Making my way through all of the 3D Zeldas for the very first time - quite exciting and fun.

I'll also be finishing Luigi's Mansion - have 3 missions left until its finished!

Sonic Racing on Wii U will also be happening

I never owned a Wii and am very happy that the Wii U has backwards compatibility - it is like buying 2 systems in one and I LOVE it!

The Wii never grabbed me because I didn't want a system all about motion - the Wii U is perfect for me and now I get to enjoy Mario Galaxy and so many other great titles.

@Peach64 $20 is not almost the price of a new game - $30 is half the price of the original - this is not the typical DLC, but one that DOUBLES the size of the game - I think these prices are beyond fair and am really excited to dig back into this game (100 percented the original).

@Mqblank Did they say that this will be a limited edition release? Can we expect this title to be available near the end of the Wii U lifecycle (4-5 years from now?)

@Dreamcaster-X It'll have all 80 levels, but redone for Luigi - it won't contain the original game if thats what you are asking (that would be one crazy deal)

@PS4WiiU $30 or $20 seem like a great deal for a game that will consume 20 plus hours of gameplay - this is a huge DLC - basically it doubles the amount of content found in the original - pretty awesome

Was super excited to see a boxed version is coming out too! And at $30 that is a must buy for any newbie to the Wii U.

My big question is can I play the DLC version after its downloaded without the original disk? After I've proved that I own it do I need the disk?

My hunch is I'll want the retail version, but will I be patient enough to wait? I certainly don't want to double dip and get both versions
