While I'd love to buy this version for the sheer aspect of having it portable, two things stop me from doing so. 1) I'm too used to the Wii controls (and somehow I still haven't finished this game), and 2) the asking price of $30 is a little steep for what's basically the same game I got for $8 at GameStop, just with a higher resolution and frame rate. But for those who've never played this, do yourself a favor and pick this up. It's such a great game.
I've only ever played Resident Evil 4 with the Wii pointer, and I absolutely cannot imagine playing that game with analog sticks, It's so intuitive to point and shoot with the pointer (though I know that version is a bit easier because of it).
I'm not sure it would feel the same with the Joy-Cons or the Pro Controller, but I'd love for them to include it all the same.
This month is just chock full of good ports of last gen games, for the Switch at least. Saints Row The Third, Sniper Elite V2, and Assassin's Creed 3 all spring to mind. A great month to get caught up on games you may have missed last generation.
I'm not really a shoot 'em up kinda person, they've never really interested me. However, Graceful Explosion Machine looks really interesting, maybe I'll check that out.
Assuming I actually have time to play games with all my stuff due for school and an AP test this Thursday, I'll probably jump into some more Smash, maybe some more Dragon's Dogma, and I might start Steamworld Dig, which I just picked up for a bargain price.
If they are going to make a track creator, I'd hope it'd be something between Labo Motorcycle Track Creator and the N64 DD version of F-Zero X's creator. The Labo creator had a unique idea with using the Joy-Con, and F-Zero X DD was really robust for a track creator (if I'm remembering correctly).
