Welp, another (tenuous) excuse to get back into it again!

Whether I get it at launch or not, mine will go to my daughter.

This will inevitably be my most played Switch game this year, and will be competing with Monster Hunter Wilds for most played game overall. Cannot wait.

This caught my eye, but the asking price is too high for what I can essentially get elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. One for a sale perhaps.

I tried the game on PS5 for free, it was just a much worse version of a Lego game, without the multiplayer to even have a bit of fun with younger gamers. I'm not sad to see it was a failure, but again it's the people who had no influence on the project direction who are punished for its poor performance.

I didn't get a Switch until the OLED was out, and I had the choice between the original and the OLED. For the reasonable price increase it was worth the upgrade, so if they released both versions at the same time I'd probably do the same, but it's not important enough to make me buy another console later on.

Hopefully those affected can find sufficient and, more importantly, reliable work as soon as possible. It's a shame to see this so frequently.

I only recently picked this up but it is a blast, happy to have more of it to enjoy.

Astro Bot managed to reignite my love of 3D platformers, and I am now very excited about the next ones from Nintendo and many others, and even about revisiting some other recent ones now I'm back in the mood for them.

But I love the Nontendo Swetch!

I planned to pick this up on PS5, but I'd rather have it on the Switch 2 if it runs well enough.

It's not actually going to be a button, but a small window that shows treasured childhood memories when the system detects you are feeling upset or stressed.

@Bex_Tries I loved it, played it on Wii U but never ended up finishing it. It's worth tracking down.

488 hours, top 3 were Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Unicorn Overlord & Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but I think Unicorn was my favourite of the year.

I'd be happy if this was an 'upgrade' as opposed to a brand new console generation, just a more powerful and fully featured Switch to have more capability, but if it's a brand new generation it's a bit bland.

If only I lived in Japan (and had any relevant skills or experience in game development)

@Tempestryke That's Hasbro in a nutshell to be fair, no consistency in quality at all. I love the X-men and TMNT collabs myself, the second Jurassic Park set wasn't as good as the first but is still decent. They've done a few GI Joe crossovers now, but most have apparently been very disappointing.

I am a sucker for Transformers crossovers, but Sonic looks like nightmare fuel (perhaps tied with original movie Sonic) so I may avoid these.

Sometimes it's a good idea to have different names in different regions...just saying...

This was a great time when I played it on PS4, but please can their next game be called 'House' and just be a game about the everyday life of a house cat. And then possibly 'Meer' and go all out on a desert setting to live as a meerkat.

Started this one a while back but was distracted by other releases, good enough reason to jump back in.

Monkey See mode could be really cool in handheld, especially if there's gyro support to move the camera.

@Hal9001 Oh I know, they're well within their right to go after anything they have reason to believe has 'stolen' their ideas/designs etc. It just has me questioning the authenticity of the sentiment if they don't start targeting all other 'clones'.

@Arehexes Precisely, there's been plenty of games that have done things other games have done, including those developed by Nintendo themselves. Why are they focusing so much on Palworld now?

I can't say for certain that Palworld didn't infringe on any patents (I ain't no lawyer) but the way Nintendo are targeting them rather than the likes of Coromon, Nexomon, Temtem, Cassette Beasts, World of Final Fantasy (the list goes on) shows there's likely more to it than just the principle. Obviously not saying I want them all to be sued, just an observation.

It should not be news that a game with 'vampire' in the title has added vampires, but here we are, Poncle have done it, and I love and respect them for it.

I have been waiting SOOOOOOOOOO long to be able to play this again, absolutely cannot wait!

I always come back when there's a new DLC released, then lose a few weeks of my life to the game again.

"Get the tissues ready" I didn't think they could put those kinds of videos on YouTube...nope...never mind, I get it now.

This is disappointing, I wanted something to take up the Skies of Arcadia shaped hole I've had in my life for the past 2 decades. Oh well, I'll keep an eye out for thus getting patched.

@swoose They put it in a Gimmighoul chest and can't get it out until they've shut down 1000 fan games.

This review and a video from the dev I've watched today have convinced me to pick it up, I love unique adventures and need something to get into while I'm away next week.

Are we going to do this with every game that comes out? Put them side-by-side and there's a lot of 'borrowed' systems, mechanics, and ideas that make up a plethora of gaming experiences. They can coexist and people enjoy both, there's clearly no direct plagiarism going on from a design, asset or technical standpoint, so I'm all for it!

AI and other tools should be used to make simple and unsavoury jobs easier, so everyone can have an uplift in their comfort and contentment, not to replace the human element and remove people's ability to have jobs and be self-sufficient. The issue is those who are employing these tools are focusing on any way they can have an autonomous workforce that doesn't need paying and won't argue its own rights. They're only interested in making more money with less cost (like all businesses) and integrity is the first thing that disappears when you're offered a pretty penny for little effort.

Can't wait to get back into MvC2!
