At the end of the day only a drop in quality or content being cut to meet deadlines would convince me there needs to be longer development times. With the trickle content system it's even harder to say if either is at play.
I only pay for online to play tetris 99 and splatoon 2 matches, The games are just an okay bonus, and honestly, I'd rather keep the selection lame if it keeps them from raising the price.
Generally Nintendo tries to make a console generation last between 6-8 years, next year would be the 6th year of the switch, with supply chain issues everywhere I wouldn't be shocked if they take their time.
This giving away the expansion but requiring ownership if the game strategy aggravates me. I'll just keep paying $20 a year to play splatoon online, that's all I really wanted it for.
Clinics/doctors are supposed to stabilize patients, did this person have a concussion and showed clear symptoms, or were they told they had to go to a hospital if they believed they had a concussion without clear symptoms?
Whatever this smells funny but the multibillion-dollar company can defend itself.
I bought like 40ish ps1 games on my PSP and PS3, now I need to buy a subscription to play these same games on the PS4 or PS5 is the real crapshoot in this whole thing.
Gamepass is nice but the garbage legacy content support sony provides is the bigger issue for me.
The only preorder I regret was Dragon Age 2, what a giant pile of crap. Honestly I generally just do not preorder western releases these days since they seem to launch with no quality assurance.
At first I wondered how this was at all helpful or useful to people but, thinking a bit broader there are plenty of hack game journalists who would use this game's release as a springboard to spew their unbelievably stupid opinions disguised as a review of this game.
@BulkSlash To be fair Square enix might be behind this, they've been pushing out a bunch of GaS titles and that upcoming Platinum game appears to be in that vein.
You see a triangle has 3 sides, and there are 3 nations in conflict, and it is a strategy game. No one asks why every Mario title has super in the title despite super meaning divine magnificence while Mario is a schlubby plumber.

Re: Godzilla Looks For Love In 'Kaichu: The Kaiju Dating Sim', Coming To Switch Soon
Art is unappealing but maybe I am not the audience for it.
Re: Nintendo Of America Named In New Workplace Complaint
This says so little it would be foolish to make any conclusion.
Re: Classic Japanese Visual Novel Is Coming To The Switch This Month
"Delicate rewrite that is noted not to damage the original."

If it ever releases I will buy it I guess.
Re: Witcher 3 Dev Admits He Overcrowded One Map With Too Many Points Of Interest
Can't you filter out map icons? Or am I thinking of some Ubisoft game?
Re: Watch: Is Five Years Between Splatoon Games Too Short A Wait?

Re: Random: It's Been Five Years Since We've Heard Anything About Pikmin 4
Wait they're making a pikimin 4? I thought that was just a rumor like silent hill getting a new game.
Re: Duke Nukem Is Getting A Movie From Legendary & The Creators Of 'Cobra Kai'
Maybe this would have worked 20 years ago but now I think it is just hoping to exploit the name in a shallow and depressing way.

How is that 3DS version of mighty number 9 coming...
Re: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Reveals Three New Characters, Jenny Available Now
The no voice acting in this very specific title is such a deal-breaker. I want to hear Nigel say "smashing" when he does a finisher.
Re: Talking Point: As Switch Hardware Sales Slow, How Long Can Nintendo Delay 'Switch 2'?

Re: Mini Review: Waifu Impact - Single-Player 'Fortnite With Fan Service', Minus The Fun
"Fortnite minus fun"
So fortnite?
This does look pretty lazy in all honesty though.
Re: Yuji Naka Was Removed As Balan Wonderworld Director, Filed Lawsuit Against Square Enix
I would like to know what he means by unfinished, if it was the 1 button simplistic gameplay that was hard to stay engaged with I get it.

boob game bad.

Re: Review: The House Of The Dead: Remake - Control Issues Gnaw At Sega's Arcade Classic
Yeah the devs were sloppy like they were with panzer dragoon, hope they patch it up.
Re: Square Enix Shows Off Chrono Cross Remaster Comparison Screenshots
Looks a little less blurry.
Re: 'Seven Pirates H' Brings, Ahem, "Booby Training" To Switch This May
Preordered this back when playasia was doing free shipping on orders, should be great.
Re: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For April And May 2022
Think the switch version of Tormented souls is out April 14 as well.

Gamepass is nice but the garbage legacy content support sony provides is the bigger issue for me.
Re: Chrono Cross Physical Edition Coming To Asia With English Language Support
If Play Asia does free shipping again I will pick it up, but the cheapest shipping is still $10 while taking a month to show up.
Re: Review: Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon Breath - A Middling Shmup Affair
I'm not willing to pay more than $30 for a shump, even if its from an interesting anime.
Re: Talking Point: Should We Still Be Pre-Ordering Games?
The only preorder I regret was Dragon Age 2, what a giant pile of crap. Honestly I generally just do not preorder western releases these days since they seem to launch with no quality assurance.
Re: Review: Kirby And The Forgotten Land - A Breezy Delight With Mario-Level Invention
Whenever I am going through a tough time nothing lightens my mood up like a Kirby game.
Re: Random: Jealous Husband Sells Wife's Harvest Moon Collection To Stop Her "Marrying Virtual Men"
Jeez glad I am not this insecure.
Re: Review: Wife Quest - A Bawdy Metroidvania That's Well Worth A Look
I really like the art quality, might grab it on sale.
Re: Want To Play Atelier Sophie 2 With An English Dub? Let Koei Tecmo Know
I'd rather have a few extra free in-game costumes instead of English VA's, I'm used to playing the games with Japanese VA's at this point.
Re: Reminder: You Can Now Download A Free Lite Version Of Chocobo GP On Switch
I tried it but I just wished I was playing crash team racing or Mario kart 8. The racers lack weight, to be fair I only had access to 3 racers.

Re: Video: YouTuber's Ultimate Switch OLED Test "Finally" Delivers Burn-In After 3,600 Hours
3600 hours that's only enough time to play xenoblade chronicles 36 times in a row!
Re: PlatinumGames' Live Service Title Is Off To A Really Bad Start
I played the demo, it should have a lot less players.
Re: The House Of The Dead: Remake Is Alive, Gets Switch Release Date
Not a day one buy just cause the dev needed to fix a lot of things in their panzer dragoon release, but will eventually grab.
Re: Poll: Triangle Strategy Is Out Today On Nintendo Switch, Will You Be Getting It?
Demo sold me on it I just hope they took my enemy turn speed up suggestion.

Just seven pirates H for me.
Re: Rockstar's GTA Trilogy Is Getting "New Patches" Next Week
I mean the soundtrack is still cut in half but good job getting these up to the state they should have released in.
Re: Potential Switch Port Round-Up - The Wii U Games That Haven't Come To Switch
My wiiU is basically just a xenoblade X machine at this point.
Re: Review: Maglam Lord - Great Characters And Writing, But Grindy, Repetitive Combat
I'd like to get this but I need it to drop a little in price, maybe a big drop in price if the Nintendo direct is good.
Re: Feature: Our Predictions For The February 2022 Nintendo Direct
I have no expectations the only way I could be disappointed is if they bring out some NFT's or some awful metaverse game.

Re: Hands On: Rune Factory 5 Feels Comfortable And Familiar, But Is That Enough?
Farming* games are supposed to be comfy, and being formulaic isn't bad as long as the formula is sound.
*obviously there is a lot more going on than just farming in rune factory.
Re: PlatinumGames Is Keen To Create Titles That Are "Different" From Its Past Efforts
How much of Platinum was acquired by Tencent? This seems like a response to external pressure.
Re: The Wii U Is Getting A New eShop Game In 2022, Will Include Balance Board Support
I want to support this just for the sheer creative control usage but the game itself looks generic otherwise.
