Catie in MeowmeowLand. My wife picked purely by the name when we were flipping through the eshop. I figured it’d be a waste of money but we played it for hours straight and then played through it again a year later. The game is screen after screen of ridiculous puzzles that have a psychedelic feel. The solutions are surprising and It had us legitimately laughing in a regular basis. It’s only 1 player but we had fun just passing the control back and forth.
I am probably more excited about this game than I am everything else in the direct (other than Zelda). I play Fitness Boxing 2 for 40 minutes 5 times a week. It will be great to have there be more of a fighting gameplay mode to mess around with.
@derdennis I found the trick to getting the side steps to register is to make sure the backs of the joycons (where the triggers are) are parallel and facing forward.
I guess I'm in a small minority here, but I've tried probably 10 times in my life to get into Mario 64 and have never enjoyed it. I'm playing Sunshine for the first time ever and am loving it.
There is a lot of strategy in this game. You first have to recognize that you can purposefully derail from goal chasing as long as you prepare for follower monsters with the right items and monsters. My wife and I have played this a lot. Its definitely not perfect but I’d give it a 7.5.
"In a PlayStation Blog interview with Localization Producer James Kuroki, Kuroki confirmed Shining Resonance Refrain is a remaster of PS3 game Shining Resonance, which originally released only in Japan. It will feature improved graphics, bringing it up to 1080p resolution, and includes all the DLC for the original game. A price and release date have not been announced at this time."
It's made in Unity like Mr. Shifty which most likely explains some of the performance issues. That being said, I bought it and it's super fun. I didn't notice the frame rate drop. It's my favorite co-op game for Switch so far.
Online Street Fighter 2 is a day 1 purchase for me. It is admittedly overpriced for what it is. Street Fighter IV on XBox360 was a full blown addiction for me for a while. I hope this sells well and leads them to port SF5 or the new Marvel Vs Capcom infinite.
Not particularly excited about these games, but it might be telling about how easy it is to port games over, which in turn be great for indie releases in general.

Re: Super Mega Baseball 3 Hits The Switch Next Month, Includes Cross-Platform Play
Nice! Loved the demo of the last one. Only thing that kept me from buying it was lack of franchise mode. Will get this for sure.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects - June 2019
Slay the Spire ate up most of my game time this month. That game is addictive.

A+ work! Witcher 3, Panzer Dragoon and whatever that Mafia game was. I hope that is good because it looked fun as hell to me.

Re: Sega's Shining Series Returns To The West After A Decade Away, And It's Coming To Switch
It looks like this is an update to the Japanese PS3 game, Shining Resonance. I found its original Famitsu score:
Shining Resonance (PS3) – 8/9/8/8 [33/40]
There are videos of the original version's gameplay on youtube.
