Re: Sega Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary With A Micro Version Of The Game Gear

nitake92

Dear god, it's TOO small and JUST four games or so per "console"?? Better to have all 16 as a starter set.....for value for money... I mean... most of those games you can find other version on the Switch or the 3DS or so on and the screen is LARGE enough that you don't have to squint to focus on the gameplay....

Seriously who in SEGA thought this was a good idea to go ahead with.

Re: We Won't Get A Nintendo Direct This June For E3, Says Report

nitake92

Due to the Internet age, we as a people have become so used to having announcement/ trailers etc from Game producers that to be deprived of it is like an addiction withdrawal....

My way to deal with it is to remember (because I'm OLD) is that when I was young in the 90's , game information only comes from game magazines and those were only available monthly or when I had enough cash saved up to buy them and I did not really need to be spoonfed informations about new games coming out all the time...I just focus on playing what I have and what I can get.

Re: Mario & Luigi RPG Dev AlphaDream Files For Bankruptcy

Quite sad but it seem that the last two remake really weren't profitable enough to deal with their debt. I was able to nab them when I went to Japan this April at extremely low price of 1000 Yen or so up brand new at the various game stores when some 2nd hand 3DS game were still at 3000 yen up

Re: Super Butoden Will Remain Exclusive To Dragon Ball FighterZ Pre-Orders

nitake92

Super Butoden holds a special place in my heart and I really do wish we could have just bought it as an E-shop game.

It was the FIRST fighting DB Game and the FIRST game I ever bought when I moved to Japan in 1993 and played the F## out of it since allowance was scarce then. To me it'll always be better than Hyper Dimension which I thought was mediocre and not really worth my money (To be fair, it was released late when the DB Manga ended and the DB Boom was fading in Japan.)

I may look for a second hand with code still intact since I've already played DB FighterZ on the PS4 and this version offers nothing extra outside of portability.

Re: Sega Mega Drive Classics Is Coming To Switch This Winter With Exclusive Features

I'm not too sure why they announce this after trying to sell people on
Sega Ages.

At first I thought it was the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing but that's ridiculous.

It's enticing but I've heard that the other version on PS4 doesn't emulate well as some other people stated above with problems galore but if it isn't BAD BAD type of Bad then it might be worth having on the Switch for me.

I hope that the rest of the Sega Age title will not have duplicates like with the two Sonic games here and instead focus on Saturn/Dreamcast titles or other PS2/ GC Sega title that can be emulated/ remastered perfectly...

Re: Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle - Nirvana For Side-Scrolling Fighter Fans

nitake92

I'll be getting this sooner or later, I just want to know first whether the Online ( which will have to be paid for) is robust and easy to connect since I've heard that the Street Fighter anniversary collection's Online isn't SO good.

And Capcom, while you're at it.... how about negotiating and putting out the Disney Afternoon Collection

or a New Disney Collection
(Aladdin, Pinochhio, Toy Story, Goof Troop, Castle of Illusion, Maul Mallard, etc)

or a "Marvel " collection. (X-Men Children of Atom, X-Men Mutant Apocalypse (SNES) , Marvel Super Heroes , Marvel Super Heroes War of Gems (SNES)The Punisher)

or a 3D Fighting Collection (Powerstone 1,2, Tech Romancer, Justice Gakuen 1,2 and Star Gladiator 1,2)

You know we'd buy them....

Re: The Capcom Beat ’Em Up Bundle Will Tickle Your Side-Scrolling Fighter Itch

This looks fun and apparently two games haven't been on console before so that's good and you can play online (if you pay for the subscription)

I wouldn't be aversed to a Vol 2. (if it sells well,) where you can get Final Fight 2, 3, Street Fighter 2010,etc or other collections ( if license allow ) such as The Marvel Collection ( X-Men vs SF, X-Men, Marvel Super Heroes, etc)

Re: Nintendo Reveals Upcoming NES Game Releases For Switch Online Service

nitake92

To be honest, I was refraining from making comments until the full line-up of games were shown and now that we know it's just NES games instead of maybe having SNES, N64 or even GB, GBA games, it's a bit disappointing.

Now I know they can come later but to be honest, NES games haven't REALLY grabbed my attention in decades so it's not enticing for me. So I guess I'll wait , no need to rush a subscription since it's not worth it for me at the moment.
