I am finally playing Dark Souls 2 after finishing every other Soulsborne FromSoftware title, and its a rocky road. There are moments where I fall in love with it, and there are moments where I hate it with a passion. Its a strange Dark Souls. Im not sure if I can be bothered to do any of the DLC. I think I may just skip it and do the base game.
Other than that, I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles X DE and having a blast. But it is reminding me I still need to finish XC2 (inc Torna) and XC3.
I may jump back into the Demo for AI Limit again as I never tried the boss rush, but have pre-ordered as I think it seems like its going to be great, especially for the price.
I'm ignoring my backlog of (current gen) unplayed games this weekend and revisiting some classics.
I am currently playing Ocarina of Time on my original N64 (recently HDMI modded) and also playing through Star Fox Adventures. I remember enjoying it way back when it was released but for some reason, I never finished it.
Having such a great time with them. OOT brings back so many memories and it's amazing how much I remember from my first playthrough.
I need to play through Majora's Mask at some point, as I never did finish it back in the day, but I think I'm going to wait for my Analogue 3D to ship and play it on that - I hope it doesn't get delayed!
This is fantastic news as I love the Banjo games. I just picked up a physical copy for the N64 (unboxed unfortunately) but its nice to have the ability to play this on the go on the switch now
Playing some GBA games on my analogue pocket and absolutely loving it. Currently about 2/3 of the way through Castlevania: Circle of the Moon as well as some some Golden Sun in between sessions. I'm no slouch when it comes to Castlevania games, but COTN isn't a cakewalk that's for sure.
Other than that, still playing though Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name as well as Lost Judgement. I absolutely love Yakuza/Like a Dragon games and am really enjoying these entries but taking my time as I burnt myself put playing Yakuza 3-6 back to back.
My backlog is so huge I cant even list everything I have purchased and have yet to play and loads I havent even started yet. Some highlights include:
Granblue Fantasy (not started)
Stellar Blade (half way through but got distracted)
Final Fantasy XVI (need to restart as was really enjoying but got distracted)
FFVII Rebirth (Over half way but having a break as despite really enjoying it I find it a bit to daunting)
Octopath Traveller (Over half way through)
Persona 3 Reload (not started)
And many....many more. I have a bit of a problem
I've got to be honest, despite the fact I will be picking this up I am yet to finish Trails in the Sky FC! Although I've really enjoyed the 40+ hours I've spent in it so far, I think I just found it so daunting knowing how many games there are in the series. I really need to crack on as I would love to play these newer entries but I really want to experience it in release order.
I don't really have any highlights that would be considered rare or even pricey but they have a lot of meaning to me.
Banjo-kazooie for n64 - my original copy from back in 98' Legend of Heroes Trails trilogy boxset for PSP (japanese) - intended to learn Japanese but never happened Hollow Knight collectors edition for Switch - I just love this game so much and am really glad I have a sealed copy of the collectors edition I just cant bring myself to open, so I play the digital versions on Steam and Switch instead

@Snatcher lol, glad its not just me!
It doesn't help that I'm continuously buying new games without ever really clearing anything off of my backlog.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 30th)
I am terrible at sticking to a single game, so at the moment I am jumping in and out of a few different games such as:
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (Switch)
Monster Hunter Rise (Steam Deck)
TMNT Shredders Revenge (Xbox)
Bravely Default (3DS)
Glad I have finally managed to get into Xenoblade though, loving it atm and cant wait to get to 3, in several 100 hours!
Happy gaming all!!
