Man, this isn't rocket science. The Switch's prototype name was NX. Add a letter more, and there comes OZ, i.e., ounce. (I skipped the Y, as it's a too frequent word-ending letter). You may go in peace now.
Well, being italian myself I realized I had no problems reading Dolphic... The letters were fancy, sure, but gelato... How can an Italian person miss gelato? lol
Well, I don't mean to sound harsh but boy the player could use some nudge in the right direction. I understand that we're in a time loop and due to exploration being the main factor at work here we should avoid any possible spoilers, but I played some and I just got confused. Also, first person games are not my cup of tea, really. So yeah, after much anticipation I put this game aside and there it will remain for quite some time, I'm afraid.
Okay, this might sound strange but the most important thing for me is to have free, independent hands while gaming so I don't have to hunch my back in any ways and I can move my arms for convenience. So, the obvious choice for me are Joycons and Wii remote + nunchuck, as they are the only ones who don't require you to grab a single piece of plastic with both hands.
@Arawn93 toothpaste really was a weird choice... so off-putting. Colgate used to try and sell frozen lasagna, in terms of stupidity I think this could be par
I was very hesitant when it came to this game, especially because of the Colgate hero design, but to be fair now that I'm playing it I can't complain. The battles are burning away quickly and I'm enjoying them the most. It's true you don't feel as much attachment as in 3H, but at the same time I don't know if I want to invest as much time in a FE game. I completed the Golden Deer route and I never got to try and complete the other two (damn backlog, huh). So, to those of you who are still considering getting it, would I recommend it? Absolutely.
I don't particularly like gen. 4 and I struggled getting to the end of Pokémon Pearl back in the day, so I think I'll skip this one. I wonder what went wrong after Gold/Silver, though. Too many Pokémon? Difficult balance between tradition and innovation? All the other titles felt like a drag to me (partial exceptions White and Sun/Moon)
I don't know if it's old enough, but I really want a new entry in the Wario land series. As for the series to say goodbye to, I would gladly sacrifice F-Zero, as I never had a chance to play it and I can't imagine it being revived after so many years.
Well, this is a very interesting article. It surely feels right not to finish/complete a game (two different concepts, IMHO, because I can tell I have finished SM Odyssey, watching the credits go by after 20 hours of game play, but I'm far from completing it) but there can be very different motivations for that, apart from those suggested in the article. One of them is that the contemporary audience really dislikes endings. This is partly due to the death taboo our society is facing after the destruction of the religious sense. The perspective of an infinite nothingness waiting for each of us when life comes to an end is far from pleasant, and should be avoided at all costs, by removing it, not naming it, denying it. That's why we hate endings so much, because we can't accept that things end. But they do, even when we try to avert the idea by avoiding to enter that final dungeon on purpose (something I did with Okami, one of my most-loved games ever).
@GoldenSunRM That is true! I'm replaying Galaxy and I think Super Mario Land 2 could be a reference even there, as there aren't many stages in other games that are set in space or with gravity alterations.
I'm so pleased to see Super Mario Land 2 so close to the top. It's a game that generally receives little attention. Super Mario Bros 3 is definitely the best Mario ever, just for the tanooki suit and nothing will change my mind about it. Third place would go to the original version, as it still feels like a breeze playing it, after 35 long years. So my final ranking: 1. SM Bros 3 2. Super Mario Land 2 3. Super Mario Bros
Well, Paper Mario is a series I started loving with Sticker Star, so... Maybe I'm just flawed that way. Origami King and Colour Splash are both great, but I like the artistic direction of the latter more (just personal taste). I didn't have much fun with the 2D/3D gimmick of Super Paper Mario and I never had a GC or a N64, so I don't know about TTYD and the original Paper Mario, but I guess it would be nice if I could play those and check if they're up to their reputation.

Re: Video: Remember When You Needed A Cable To Trade Pokémon?
I also used the cable to play tetris 1vs. 1. Pretty neat to be honest

Am I the only one who bought Kid Icarus with a plastic stand so that you can play it on your desk and avoid getting cramps?

@Ghost_of_Hasashi Great, great great RPG with a wonderful story. It's unlucky it came out twice on dying consoles
