Re: Ghost Recon Shows Different Strategy to Invade Wii

It's at this point where I can bring up the question...does the Wii have more or less horsepower than the Gamecube? It appears that graphics on the Gamecube could top this. What a joke. Is the Wii really that crappy that ALL the shooters have to be on rails? Gimme a break.

This game is an app for IPhone and IPad. It has gotten quite alot of good comments on the sites I've visited. I'm gonna go ahead and predict a surprising score of 7.

Re: Review: Super Mario Sunshine (GameCube)

I applaud Nintendo for trying something different with the game. It didn't all work, but it is a nice addition to the franchise. I think Mario 64 is the best of the 3D games, but Sunshine and Galaxy are tied for 2nd.

Re: Review: Super Mario Kart (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)

The battle mode alone is worth a 10/10. This game involves actual SKILL unlike the latter MK's which rely WAY too heavily on power up items and gimmicks. This game takes alot of time and patience to master, apparently something some of you aren't willing to put into this game.

Re: Super Mario Kart Hits Virtual Console on Monday

Have Mario Kart in my SNES right now. BEST of the series, especially battle mode. Battle mode on the SNES takes true skill. Actually, the game requires more skill than all of the other games because it isn't so "Power-up item" oriented.

Re: Review: Family Tennis (WiiWare)

Sorry to bring this up again, but you are completely butchering tennis terminology in your review, and misusing the word "volley". A volley in tennis is when a player hits the ball before it bounces. You are attempting to use it in place of the terms "ground stroke", "rally", and "shot".
First use should be- "ball does not get progressively faster with each SHOT"
Second use should be "controlling the speed and direction of your SHOT" (Or you could use groundstroke)
Third use should be "extended back and forth RALLIES"

Just thought I'd mention it (as I did for the Grand Slam Tennis review), so you can have a more professional sounding review.

Re: Review: Grand Slam Tennis (Wii)

TO THE REVIEWER: Please learn correct tennis terminology before writing a review!

-A "rally" is NOT called a "volley". A volley is when a player hits the ball out of the air without it bouncing, while a rally is the back and forth stroking of the ball between the opponents...the "point" if you will. I'll never understand why non-tennis players get this mixed up. They aren't even close to the same in meaning.
-An "overhand" shot is called an "OVERHEAD"

Re: Review: Plättchen: Twist 'n' Paint (WiiWare)

i just got this earlier today, and i must say, the game IS quite confusing...although I don't think it's as bad as the review says by any means. I'll post more after I play it for another few days, but right now i'd give it around a 8.0.

Re: Big Kahuna Party

i actually REALLY like this game...my girlfriend and I played this together all weekend, and never got tired of it.

Re: MadStone

IGN reviewers can be quite harsh...even by looking at this game I would think it would deserve better than 4/10. I won't be surprised if it were actually pretty fun.
