Re: Nintendo Download: Fantasies, Wars and Words (US)

longtimegamer

I actually wouldn't mind checking out both versions (maybe. so many to choose: us, japan, Ds< would like to play this one.), though probably not on after the other.

Edit: actually wouldnt mind all 3. Almost seems wasteful, at buying both Japan's AND Our origionap versions.

@Mrpinguy: Darn. Would have been cool if it WAS different. Thanks.
I'm not sure if I should get it. I played the GBA one many months ago, but really recall how different it was from the origional (other than what was pointed out here). So it was harder? How? (Been awhile)

Re: Nintendo Download: Fantasies, Wars and Words (US)

longtimegamer

@Mrpinguy: Ok. Not sure what your trying to say, I guess (sorry), but if I wanted the Origionsl ff2 for the US, then I would I would have to make that clear. If I just said that I wanted FF2 then a person may not know which one I was talking about (Unless we're talking about just for vc, and assuming that we were just talking about the US release and not the Japan version.)
Personally, FF(IV) or FF US release is fine with me, as long as I know what we're talking about (though I get mess up with th Roman numerals).

@Mrpinguy
Are you saying that this is the first time that "ff1" was released outside of japan? I played the first one awhile back. Am I confused about something? (Sorry)

Re: Nintendo Download: Fantasies, Wars and Words (US)

longtimegamer

@Mrpinguy: I see no problem how he does it. it's short, to the point, and clarifys which game he means. What's the problem? (by the way...He still had to clarify which game is which, because of how they origionally did these games. Example: If i say ff2, is that the japan version or us?).

I'm a bit annoy thatvwe only got one wiiware title, and possibly because someone dropped the ball on getting out Gravatronix (Course would have been nice for Nintendo to replace it with something). Anyway, didn't seem like it was going to be a great wiiware update anyware if only Gravatronix and word search was what we were supposed to get (unless Gravotronix really is better than it looks). I'd like to get some wiiware with some meat to it.

Re: Gravitronix Release Date Slips

longtimegamer

Well, guess we got scr**ed because of this mistake, that and the fact that Nintendo probably didn't even try to replace it with something else.
This probably would have been a perfect time for them to put this out considering that we only got wordsearch today for Wiiware.

Re: Nintendo Download: Art, Beasts, Cars, Paddles and Wars (US)

longtimegamer

@Metang: Yeah, but unfortunatly some people are still going to buy it. Hopefully they don't keep dong this with sega titles (of course if people keep buying them). This makes me think of when this gas station was about 10 cent cheaper than the one right next to it and there were people who STILL went to the more expensive one. ??? Unless you're in a hurry and the cheaper one is full, why?

Re: Nintendo Download: Art, Beasts, Cars, Paddles and Wars (US)

They can stick that Altered Beast in their ear. It really offends me that they raised this (yet again), for us . Guess they think we're really suckers.
I hope no one here downloads this, maybe it'll send them a message as to what we think about this move. You can get it in compilations anyway.
I wish we'd get something that wasn't in a compilation (that I actually want). Problem is that people will still buy this.

Re: Review: Mart Racer (WiiWare)

longtimegamer

@Gabbo- So he likes this game. Fine. But not many other games he'd choose over this? Is he inexperienced when it comes to Wiiware, or just an idiot?

Edit- That doesn't help me trust his review (or him as a reviewer). I am curious what others liked this though.

Re: Zombies Ate My Neighbors Heading to Virtual Console for Real This Time?

longtimegamer

Very freakin awesome. I bet this comes this next month for halloween. Perfect.
I had a chance to get this for $1 a while back, I believe. Of course I would have had to Find out if my snes that I got from somewhere was working (not even sure I have the controllers.) Not completely sure why I did't gt then.
This is definatly one I want to show my fiance though. Probably be an instant download.
Of course this will be perfect with the vc save thing. Did it have passwords? I can't remember.

Re: Review: Bit Boy!! (WiiWare)

longtimegamer

@Adamant- That is if they bother after this.
I was wondering if I should get this. For some reason, I almost want too (part of that is that I have 600 wii points left on my account).

Re: Power Up!

longtimegamer

When did this happen. I use my wii so I didn't know (or couldn't) "flush" that thing.

@Stuffgamer- Wasn't fast for ME...I just got back on. Was trying to get on since last nite. Was watching Supernatural to pass the time.

Re: Mart Racer

longtimegamer

Did anyone notic this is in the HOT games link below? That's misleading. Some poor sucker might see that and buy this.

Re: Help People Get Their Wii Consoles Online, Get Free Games

longtimegamer

NOA better bring this for us! That'd be awsome. So many games I haven't downloaded on vc. Now I'm not so sure that I should buy anymore of the Nintendo console games till this comes out (I've been thinking of Super Metroid for awhile. Guess it may be awhile longer).

Edit- LOL! I just noticed everyone who's commented so far is from America.
Would that be considered ironic considering it hasn't been announced for us? If not it's definatly funny, to me anyways.

Re: Nintendo Download: Spaceballs, Shopping Carts, Poker, Street Challenges, Art and Toys (US)

longtimegamer

@Adamant- Well, If it had something other than the events, that might have made it longer. Guess it's just the Olympic type event then. Thanks. I don't usually buy these olympic types games, because they (at least the older ones) don't reallt have much to them and are REALLY short.
The dirty fighting is interesting to me, plus buying power ups "moves?" (like in river city ransom. Which I played quite awhile back, before the wii.) I DID play the dodgeball a LOOONG while back, that was fun. :

Re: Flowerworks

longtimegamer

I love that we're getting en action adventure for wii(and a long one) , but....I'm not sure about this. Don't like the looks of the alien or some of the graphics (gnome's ok). Seems like an extremely kiddy like game.

Re: Nintendo Download: Spaceballs, Shopping Carts, Poker, Street Challenges, Art and Toys (US)

longtimegamer

@Stuffgamer1- He or someone else must have deleted it. I missed it.

I'm not normally into downloading the track and field games on VC. Though considering the other games these guys made and the fact that you can buy powerups and play dirty to win, I may just pick this up sometime. Plus I don't think I've ever played it, which is another plus. We haven't downloaded too many nes games so far. We have SMB, SMB lost levels, Castelvania 3. Not sure if there's anything else. Definitely not much though.

Edit- Yep, thats all we downloded for NES (Just checked.)

Re: Nintendo Download: Rygar, Solomon's Key, Spaceball and Solitaire (EU)

longtimegamer

These look like arcade games that i might be interested in. Particularly Rygar. Are these on any compilations? Still sucks that you don't get them every week though.

@Bass X0- I Think you got lucky getting 2 arcade titles at the same time. It'll probly take us people in America forever to 2 more of these. If NOA follows the normal 1 a week.

Re: OFLC Ratings Promise Street Fighting Action

longtimegamer

@Kevin- I'm with you. About as bad as George Lucas's Starwars films, being repackaged over and over(better sound, better graphics, Soon the 3d versions of these films. What's next? Starwars: The scratch and sniff edition?).
Fighting Street is not so bad because VC hasn't gotten z version yet.
