@Damo Sorry damo, I appreciate the article and it's always great to hear an honest opinion but I think that describing GTA as "a morally corrupt experience" is a big mistake. I think it implies a causal relationship between videogames and morality that I don't believe exists. To do this at a time when our medium is under threat of censorship is a bad idea in my opinion. Do you believe that governments should legislate against violence in video games? (genuine question by the way, really not trying to sound like a jerk).
@Le_Gazman According to the review on NL there is an option to zoom out, only a few indoor sections were cited as having awkward camera angles in the final product. At lease that's what I seem to remember reading.
@Cyberbotv2 apparently both versions are broadly similar in terms of graphics. In terms of content/features: the wii u has some inventory/gadget touch screen features, but it lacks local co-op. At least that's what I've gathered from ign.
Does anyone know if there will be battle animations (so to speak) on Pure Chess? The footage from the sizzle reel seemed to show pieces just disappearing once they've been taken.
@FiveDigitLP couldn't agree with you more!! unfortunately I think March of War is a tbs. Not that it won't be good, but we really do need some rts action on wii u.
@Dyl_73 really? I understand the mentality, i know games are expensive, but i don't think that sounds like the best way to rate games, some pretty incredible and memorable games have been short.
got the new fire emblem puzzle this morning, completed it already (with a few play coins) so back to having no more new puzzle pieces to collect... japan is the place to be if you want to complete those puzzles.
p.s sorry this message is basically me just bragging like a prick, i apologize
i bought my 3ds in the u.k but am currently living in japan. I can't read japanese so without downloads i would have to wait weeks after european release dates to get the likes of luigi's mansion and fire emblem. It's already pretty frustrating getting street pass hits from japanese people playing ACNL, DQ7, god knows how many ace attorney games and so on. Saying that though when i'm back in the U.K , i'll never use downloads again. Going down to the shop to get a new game is all part of the fun for me.
