Good point to be fair. I would need to see a review of this to be totally convinced. It would have been nice to offer this free for expansion pack members. But I much prefer the the Zelda upgrades to be honest.
Mario Kart world looks epic. And I don't think we will fully be aware of how good this game looks until it's on our TV's..
What have you pre-ordered?, I just got Mario Kart World as that will be enough for launch. But I have bought a second hand copy of BOTW. I can get the free upgrade via my online membership. My wife has Hogwarts legacy for the Switch. So hopefully that will also get a performance patch as well.

Digital foundry's comparison to the PS4 is very short sighted. And more in line with their predictions than anything else. The Switch 2 will have a much more modern CPU and Nvidia's AI DLSS. The Switch 2 will be more comparable to a Series S than anything else. Most people that buy it will not even notice the difference between games on this and the PS5/SERIES X.

Does anubody outside of the dedicated collectors even buy amiibo figures anymore. It's pretty easy to buy amiibo cards on e-bay genuine or not if you need the game functionality.
Once again Nintendo are pulling out all the stops to promote their new console. Anybody that thought we were looking at a Wii to Wii U situation agian is going to be eating an awful lot of crow.

This new magnetic connection looks pretty cool to me. The rails always felt a bit loose to me. Even more on the OLED.
