Game was fine and controls better than Mario 64. I think the reviewer missed the point of this game. Also, complaining about game length on a $2 game, really?
Huge Go fan here. Imagine my disappointment seeing a Go board in the screenshots only to find out it's just used for Gomoku, which is basically connect 5 played like Othello or reversi.
@mist I’m personally not a Pokémon fan, but my wife bought the game and I’ve been watching her play, and I don’t see any of the technical issues many of those comments mentioned. The game seems fine to me.
Battle Chasers and Undertale made the list, but not Witcher 3, Fire Emblem, Dark Souls, Skyrim, any of the Disgaea games, Dragon's Dogma, or Ys 8? Really?
@ekwcll “I feel that if you want the game badly enough, you would buy it regardless of the price.“ I used to own a copy of Liytle Samson for the NES that I picked up for $20 at a used game shop back in the 90s. It got stolen from my dorm during my college years. The game now sells for $800+, and often goes for over $1000 on eBay and other sites, and there’s no telling if it’s even an authentic copy. I want the game badly (the original cart, not a rom or clone), but I am not willing or able to put down that kind of money for it. I don’t think most people would be.
@Mgene15 It’s been hacked, but still not worth it. I tried every setting in the built in emulator and could not get the performance that I get with a ps1 emulator on a $30 raspberry pi 3 b+, even on the non-pal games. This is the most disappointed product I’ve ever purchased from Sony, and that includes the ps2 non-backwards compatible version of the PS3.
My game crashed right after beating Bed of Chaos, and after reloading my game, Bed of Chaos is still alive. Does this update fix this? This is the most frustrating part of the game for me, and I really don’t want to doing this boss fight again. I’d rather do Ornstein and Smough again, because at least that fight was fun and a fair challenge, but this Bed of Chaos thing is just causing me cheap deaths.
I only have Dukes Archives, the DLC and Gwyn left to complete, so I’m really hoping there aren’t any more crashes that could potentially ruin my save file and progress.
So you give Milon's Secret Castle a scathing review and then give it's sequel a glowing review, all while obfuscating the fact that this is its sequel?
First of all, "one of those games you’ve never heard of" is a preposterously bold claim, especially for a Hudson game. I feel like this review was written by someone who has never played a third party NES game, and would probably also give a bad score to the Adventure Island series. While it's not as good as it's sequel, Do-Re-Mi Fantasy on the SFC (which they inexplicably fail to even mention here, yet they use the term "Milon fanboy"), it's a decent game on its own right. Time has not "amplified" it's shortcomings. It runs exactly the same on my NES and AVS as it did on my NES when it came out.
I hate when grown adults use the word "unfair" about gameplay mechanics. Grow up, really. This game isn't as bad are as hard as you make it out to be. The dam level is the only part that's moderately hard, and it's not even that bad. The game requires far less trial and error than Battletoads ever did, yet that game gets a ton of praise. You mention respawning enemies as an issue, but you never complained about the constantly respawning zebs in Metroid or the enemies that reappear if you move a pixel backwards in Ninja Gaiden. Just because you don't have the patience to get better at the game doesn't make it a bad game.

Re: GTA Trilogy Remaster Music Tracks Confirmed By Rockstar
I’m very confused by this list. Playing this currently, and several of the songs you said were missing have played
Re: GTA Trilogy Remaster Music Tracks Confirmed By Rockstar
@Razzy I’m playing this right now, and Cars and Video Killed the Radio Star both played on it
Re: Gallery: Nintendo Switch OLED Vs Standard Switch - The Key Differences In Pictures
@LeighDapa The original Switch runs the Switch port of Crysis. Why wouldn’t the upgraded Switch run it too?
Re: Interplay Is Remastering Cult SNES Brawler ClayFighter
So when is this happening? You said this was confirmed, and it's been several years now

I checked the link you said Amazon had them for $99, but it was $200 for a used one. What gives?

Re: Car Mechanic Simulator Pocket Edition
@Kit The other one used the same logo and everything. That's borderline copyright infringement.

@NinChocolate Now that Mario Odyssey is out on the Switch, which major 3d Mario game came out after you said that?
