They could include this option in the Nintendo channel, I mean DS demos are already there... And is it possible to make a message service? In that way, you can get a message when a new demo is available..
This is what I meant when I said EU & NA had both benefits, and this time it's lucky NA. This is the 4th competition this week (if I'm right), well that's great
Well, I hate the original DSi. But this one needs a serious consideration. If there's no news of a real DS successor by the time this is released in Europe, I'm going to buy this. Besides, my DSLite is a little bit broken, I can still play games.
Yesterday, I created a topic in the news section because it was offline. I also mentioned the free NES game and the 500 point promotion, and now it's all true . I have downloaded SMB3, I need some practice before starting with NSMBWii.
SEGA, maybe in the past, but certainly not now (Sonic and the sword-****, Sonic as a ***** werehog). SEGA can still be revived (Project Needlemouse...)
You know, when I saw the changelog I couldn't believe my eyes.... Ninty was actually updating the most important part of the Wii. And this is no suprise for me.
@ AllthepeoplewhothinkthatNintycansolvethisproblem: Unless they take the update offline immediately, more Wii's will brick. The update itself is no problem, but the odds of failure are.
When Nintendo launched an update, there were always people who turned off their Wii or the update didn't work. That was mostly no problem, but this update is.
This will also be the last and only update for the Wii that bricks so many Wii's. Please believe this and don't ask why because it's a very long story...
@ SanderEvers : "It's even illegal that Nintendo removes these programs from your Wii. Since you own the Wii, and not them." Not 100% true. When you want to use the Wii Shop Channel or use WiiConnect24, you'll have to accept Ninty's agreement. And when you accept it, you give them the right to remove those files...
I did a little research and it is true, Nintendo system updates almost never have anything good for the user. And 'improve overall system performance' ?!?! No, absolutely not. If they want to do that, then just start by removing that harmful SD-cardmenu. But I'm happy that I live in Europe
@Roopa 132, I changed my country settings to United Kingdom to access the UK Nintendo Channel. Another reason for me to do this were games which had a Dutch language option, I can't see/play/like/enjoy games when they're in Dutch. But this option comes with one problem: if you change the language, you mess up your whole WiiConnect 24 settings, so it's your choice.
When the DSi was released here in the Netherlands, Nintendo also released a commercial booklet and it clearly shows that this game had to be released in July 2009. Strange...
If they make another R4i without the ability to update the boot flash, Nintendo can block it again. But if you can update the boot flash, there's always a way to get it work again no matter what (software)updates Nintendo brings out.

About the podcast: I guess we won't be getting one at the end of November / begin December ???
Re: Competitions Nudge
@pHaT-aNt_ : Stupid me, and thank you for being so kind to decide who wins before the competition has ended
Re: Competitions Nudge
This reduces my chances to win, either way good luck to everyone.
@ King Elemento: I thought you could only win goodies and not the game...
BTW: Because we're so nice we've extended two of the competitions , it should be three. EDIT: was not true, see post 10
Re: Review: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)
@redflicky: It is easy if you compare it to Prime 2.

Re: Top 20 DSiWare Games in USA (1st Oct)
The best DSiWare things for me are free.
So I see no point in DSiWare, in my opinion the service is not even close to what it should have been.
Re: Did Nintendo Secretly Patch The Conduit?
@Super Smash Bros. Fan1999: "Proof that the Wii can be patched."
True but be warned, this is not always possible...

Yes, my thoughts exactly. Homebrew blocks etc.
Re: Assassin's Creed II: Discovery To Make Use of DSi Camera
@wanderlustwarrior : more powerful? Yes, but only a little bit. So, they have to be mad in order to 'ban' DS/DSLite-users.

Hopefully in Europe on Friday.
Re: Magnetis
The EU Nintendo Channel says its out now (3 aug!!) , but it is not in the Shop Channel.
Mistake?
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
I'm also going to buy it.
And I heard there will be something called Demo-play for rookie gamers, it allows you to skip hard parts of the game.
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkeys, Rattles, Fantasies and Puzzles (US)
The 1st professor Layton weekly puzzle is also downloadable.

Re: Professor Layton and Pandora's Box
Japan gets almost the 4th game, and we finally the 2nd. Wow, we have to be confident.
