On the other side, you can't developer on a consumer version of the Switch, it lacks a number of features the dev hardware do have. Maybe he just wants to play around and see the featues of the console, and that is what he ment with "studying the hardware".
@Yasume Can I still remind you that there is a huge amount of people who didn't own a Wii U? Its the only Wii U port on Switch launch, other consoles have/had way more ports/remasters/HD editions or how you want to call it.
Also your judgement of ARMS is weird since the game isn't even released? People had the same judgement about Splatoon and that turned out to be one of the better Wii U games/new IP's Nintendo created in the last decade.

The point is: I don't know the ratio of Wii U owners vs Switch owners and neither do you.
Guys the Switch and Mini Snes are two totally different products, why would they compete with each other? They don't even remotely come close to each other. From the moment the Mini Nes got discontinued I expected this to happen, they are problaby relocating their resources.
@Yasume thats incorrect. The Switch hasn't been available in the Netherlands for quite some time. I haven't seen it in the wild (bart smit, intertoys, game mania en Mediamarkt) yet. Neither do these stores know when they can fullfill their preorderd or get new shipments. Just go inside the Mediamarkt now, which is arguably the biggest game shop, and she the pathetic small amount of available Switch accessories and empty console shelves... heck game mania doesn't even know when they get consoles again.
@dew12333 Honestly, Super Mario 64 is universally aknowledged for changing the way you walk around in a 3D game environment. It may be not the first 3D game (that was Doom if I am right), but it did gave you a complete freedom to have 360 degree movement and a dynamic camera which you could control yourself.
If you think the opposite I am happy to hear your opinion about this.

But I was really excited for this game...Also im a huge Disney fan and I could play this game with my nephwes who are coming over. And maybe im going to Disney in July so if Infinity launched in Juni I could buy maybe some exclusive figures in the park?..
@Zellybeanie They aren't cute, They serve the same purpose in game's....First of all it doesn't matter if they are cute or not. They are from better quality than Skylanders and most of all they are from high quality cause Play Arts Kai maked them. But I think most important where you go wrong is the fact that AR cards server a different purpose. AR cards uses a camera not a NFC chip...

The U version will have a Infinity base because it needs all those 3 places. And if you remove the figure or playset you will exit that playset or the figure will go out of the world. So yes the U version uses the base.
Also this is gonna be one of the best summer releases for me. This game is gonna be amazing.
