@shinpichu My apologies for upsetting you. There is fun to be had with Air Ride but it's not going to be for everyone and I tried to be as fair as possible when reviewing it.

@Fudge - City Trial is most definitely fun but it HATES me. For example, every time I'd screw up and grab too many weight pickups, I'd end up with a High Jump. :/

@WiiLovePeace You should check it out. There is a good amount of fun to be had here, it's just a shame that there isn't a focused single-player mode. Personally, I didn't really enjoy this game until I played with a few people.

Well, being from Michigan, I HATE Ohio State. Regardless, this is incredible.

I liked this. Very much. Although hearing Mario's voice and seeing that it's actually coming out of a real human being terrifies me.

Kirby Air Ride, Mutant Mudds, and Super Mario 3D Land.

I'm very interested in this game but I think I'm even more excited for Power of Illusion on the 3DS.

Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing was a great game. At times, I almost prefer the slick controls of that game to Mario Kart DD and Wii. I will most definitely be picking this up for the Wii U especially if the $39.99 price tag on GameStop.com is correct.

Immensely disappointed that Rayman won't be coming home with me on launch day. NSMBU and Sonic Transformed it is. Possibly even Epic Mickey Two even though I barely spent any time with the first.

FINALLY picked this one up. So far, it's an incredibly fun game. No one makes games like Nintendo.

I think he is right. I also think Nintendo is holding off on big game announcements to distract from the unveiling of next gen consoles. Excited to see what happens.

@smitherenez I read that each world is going to contain a music-based level. Hopefully this is one from the first couple worlds. Plus, it could totally be harder than it looks. It's hard to translate difficulty in a trailer where the character never falters of misses a beat.

Looks like I may be pre-ordering a Wii U tomorrow. All I need now is the announcement of what Retro Studios is working on, a new Star Fox / Zelda / F-Zero, or anything Donkey Kong Country and I'm all in.

I finally picked this game up a few days ago and it's an insane amount of fun. It's definitely more of an arcade racer than the previous 1080 but that's okay. Great bargain purchase!

@Lew3107 Shame on me most definitely - I honestly forgot about that one. Didn't have the time for a new game when it was released and it just slipped my mind.

I desperately need something new and engrossing. Any gems released recently? I have all current home consoles (no PC though). Otherwise, I'm just going "retro" and making love to my N64. I'm okay with this going either way.

I'm so excited for this game but I'm hoping that you aren't forced to use the touch-screen controls in single player. I'm afraid that if you constantly have to look down at a 2nd screen to manipulate the environment that it will really slow things down. One of the joys of Origins was being able to fly through the levels at full speed.

I wonder if Nintendo would use this to announce a Wii U name change to avoid any confusion going into E3? That would definitely be exciting!

@Blizzaga I was wondering the same thing. I'm sure Nintendo will announce a release date for it sometime during E3.

Been playing a ton of XBLA games. Going hard at Minecraft lately and still playing Trials Evolution. The Wii is getting dusty.

Last night I discovered how addicting Minecraft is. So, yeah, I'll probably be working at that all weekend. Maybe get back to my 2nd play of Rayman Origins too.

Hopefully one day (nearly) all of Nintendo's back catalog will be available digitally. Maybe we'll see something to that effect during the lifespan of the Wii U? Maybe I'm crazy? Just seems like a lot of "free" revenue for the company.

BTW - Not sure this is the proper forum for this comment but I wanted to publicly state, as a semi-new user, that I LOVE this website and its community. First place I go for Nintendo news and reviews. Keep up the good work!

I am in LOVE with the resurgence of 2D platformers. I absolutely adore Rayman Origins and DKCR - true modern classics. I've also really enjoyed Kirby's RtDL, NSMBWii, and Sonic Generations - although I don't feel they've quite reached level of quality that RO & DKCR have achieved.

Anyway, I didn't expect to hear of a Rayman sequel so soon due to the underwhelming sales of Origins so this is truly a thrilling announcement! Now I can't wait for E3 and Wii U!

I told myself I'd wait until Christmas to play this game. Stupid decision. I'm going to cave.

Picked this game up last night and put in a couple hours; Very fun so far although the main campaign seems like it may be surprisingly short. This IS a blast to play though! One of the first current gen games to really remind me of a SNES game in its level design and overall presentation. Just need it to keep me busy until Rayman Origins...
