The thing that’s most disheartening for me is that Switch 2 games are no longer in impulse purchase territory. I preordered SO many first-party Switch games that I was curious about but not 100% sold on as they were usually £30-35 to preorder. I’m afraid that Switch 2’s £50+ price tags are no longer in that territory and so I’m refusing to buy Kirby Air Riders, Mario Tennis, etc. until I can grab them on the cheap somehow. A shame! I’d have been all over those. However it has made room for a lot more indies. I’ve just picked up Dispatch on PS5 (uncensored) and can’t wait for Mina the Hollower amongst many others. So all is good!!

In fairness, there is some fun to be had in racing to close the eShop and delete the game before it's finished downloading.

I loved Panzer Dragoon Zwei on Saturn as a kid. Will definitely revisit this remake if and when it comes out.

Wow, I had no idea that anything like this was possible. So cool. I've never really been interested in picking this up... until now. I've just ordered a copy from Vinted and can't wait to give them all a try!
