We had the 2DS in North America for more than 2 years. The Transparent Red and Transparent Blue 2DS's were sold in North America (as Crystal Red and Crystal Blue) last year without the Super Famicom colored ABXY buttons as standalone units without the extra Pokemon stuff. Unlike in Japan, the Crystal Blue was not sold as a retailer exclusive in North America. In Japan, the Transparent Blue will be a Pokemon Center exclusive.

The Animal Crossing New Nintendo 3DS bundle price in North America is now $199.00 on Amazon (and Walmart). It was $219.99 before. In compassion, the Metallic Black (New Black in North America) New Nintendo 3DS XL standalone costs $196.19 on Amazon.

This could mean the standalone release of the smaller New Nintendo 3DS in North America (I think in black and one other color i don't know yet, I would like red). The Animal Crossing bundle price is now $199.00 on Amazon. (was $219.99)
