Initial impressions of the demo are that the controls are a downgrade from Wii U, albeit totally functional but lacking precision.

Capping the number of Pikmin you can hold in order to make the game harder is pretty cheap and lazy on Nintendo’s part.

Can’t say losing the second screen seems to make much difference though. Pressing a button to view a map works just as well.

So far not feeling the need to re-buy this at all unless the new story content is substantial. And even then.

@sid77 That’s not the issue though. The problem is that the system ignores individual profiles when counting how much play time to allow. If you want the kids to have an hour each, and one of them plays for an hour, everyone is locked out unless you enter a manual override. On the PS4 you can set play time differently for each individual so it’s much better.

No disrespect to the author but this is a bad review. It bares touches on whether the game is actually good or not with next to no information on what it does well and what it does poorly. Having read the review I still have no clue whether I might like to get it or not.
