@Pillowpants I love 8-bit guy. I been watching his channel for about 3 years. His channel primarily focuses on old computers/ general old electronic hardware which is cool because I find old computers fascinating because of how they were able to achieve stuff with very little hardware resources.
I'm disappointed that Mike Rose chose to use the early access Steam trailer for this instead of making a brand new trailer of the actual finished game which has so much more then what this trailer shows.
@AllieKitsune actually funny thing is that when the devs first worked on the game they never heard of Downhill Domination. also if the Switch owners are lucky they could get some of the community made maps.
@SMW freeriding is also a game mode in it. the main game mode is Career where you start with 4 lives and have to make it from Highlands to Peaks or if you do Career+ it is from Desert to Glaciers. however you can get more health by doing bonus objectives. and to earn cosmetic items you have to earn rep in each session to get gear. and the more rep you earn in 1 session the rarer the get you get. the gear is cosmetic only so you won't have an advantage over the other players.
@Stocksy actually if Switch owners are lucky they could possibly be getting some of the community made maps. but that is pretty low atm though because right now the devs are waiting to see about using a new plugin that will allow creators to post there mods onto the Xbox version of the game. tbh I think mine will be the best fit since it is the most optimized.
@Dijita I play the game on PC (have around 400 hours clocked in) and I can tell you that this is the early access footage. the physics has been tweaked since then. like they added in a new trick system back in october 2018. but the thing about this game is that it is heavily physics based. so to do proper whips you have to learn how to do them yourself. mainly because the game uses both joysticks. the left is to steer/ rotate in the air, and the right stick is used to tweak, pump, counter pump, and to jump. This is one of those games that you will not be good at when you start playing it for the first time. and can take time getting used to the physics.

Re: Descenders' Last Update Added A Secret World That 'Less Than 0.1% Of Players' Will Find
Funny thing is that us testers didn't even know about the secret level because the devs were being cheeky and didn't tell anyone.
