Re: Sony: Wii U is No Threat, Says "Welcome to 2006, Nintendo"

I could only watch about five minutes of the Sony E3 conference because of this man. It's his voice. It's so whiny. If I had watched another minute there would have been a fist shaped hole in my PC monitor. I'm not so sure he should have made jokes about the PSN issues. An arrogant individual.

I love the eShop. I've had no errors whilst updating, it has been a very smooth experience.

Having to wait for a download to finish is not a problem in my opinion as I have only had to wait for about two minutes per download.

I do not like the Internet Browser, but I guess to some people it will be useful. I'll continue to use my iPhone 4 and PC for that.

Prices are reasonable, 3D game trailers are fantastic and will help me to decide if I buy a game - after checking out the Zelda trailer I think I'll be getting it whereas before I was going to give it a miss.

I love it when you boot up a GameBoy game whilst holding start or select - the GameBoy border is a nice touch and the 3D effect is subtle and enhances the experience - as does holding L and R whilst playing - classic green screen action!

I want to see a Super Mario 64 esque title for Project Cafe but with an incredible level of detail realism. Water that reacts like water. Rivers, shores with waves, massive lakes. Grass with individual flowing blades. Massive trees, hundreds of branches with thousands of leaves. I want to spend my time staring at the beauty of the world, playing with the physics an sliding down lush green hills in the sun before I even realise that there is an objective. When SM64 launched I could spend hours outside of Peach's castle before even thinking about completing a level.

Re: Nintendo Confirms New Console

Also - Project Cafe suggests Nintendo are finally getting on the user profile/online service bandwagon. Not a bad thing at all. I strongly believe that if they release a console only slight more powerful than the current gen, introduce user profiles and an oline service they'll dominate the market once again.

I'm not convinced. I'll probably get it on the Wii VC. Cheaper and more or less the same game, without 3D and polish. I think I have slight OCD about playing games in their original state, and about buying 3DS games that have '3D' after the title. I want original titles. Though saying that I had no problem buying and playing MGS: The Twin Snakes for the GameCube. Perhaps that's because I've played it before. Yeah that's it, I want to play games in their original state before I play the upgraded version. Yeah.
