Re: Balan Wonderworld Is Getting A Day-One Patch To Address Demo Feedback

Never got the appeal of this game. Everything looks so disjointed. Colours are all over the place, the character designs are atrocious. After the demo feedback they should've delayed the game indefinitely. The only positive thing I've read about it are the cutscenes. I don't understand how games get to a stage like this from massive developers. 3D platformers have been around for over 25 years, yet they fail at the most basic controls.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Sells Out In Japan Following Pyra and Mythra's Smash Announcement

So what I can gather from the comments is that every Xenoblade game is the worst and best at everything.
Personally, I'm completely invested in the Xenoblade universe. When I played the first game on Dolphin about 9 years ago I was completely blown away. The setting, story, gameplay, all fantastic. The UI was my least favourite thing about it.
Xenoblade X came along and gave new meaning to the words "open world", the combat became a bit more convoluted though.
Xenoblade 2's combat is peak gameplay for me, once you get a full party and decent blades, the combat becomes this rhythmic dance. The voice acting of some characters rally brought down the mood for some scenes though, especially compared to the emotional performance of the Japanese voices.
I dislike certain aspects of each game, but the positive aspect absolutely dwarf anything negative.
Eagerly awaiting a new entry in the series and the new IP by Monolith Soft.

@Clyde_Radcliffe I just started chapter 9 (I was on chapter 3 when I first posted). This game is a trip and a half... I wasn't really that into it at first, but as each chapter passes I get sucked into it more. Don't enjoy all the mini games as they feel somewhat unresponsive at times, but the general tone of this game is amazing. Certain events in the game come out of nowhere. Can't wait to see what's left
