I personally clocked over a hundred hours into the original DQVII for the psx, I did enjoy it a lot even though it did become a bit arduous at times. I will say that it is the only game I ever tracked down and bought a players' guide for.
Seeing that everything I heard about this game was that it was a piece of horrible misogynistic trash where you, "the male", are destined to guide and protect Lara Croft so she doesn't get raped, I think we, and Nintendo, dodged a bullet here.
Sounds kinda like "Same old, same old" nowadays if you ask me. Another game bypasses the Wii. It has always been like this; it's just worse now than it used to be.
@Buster13 I think the only differences gameplay differences between Dr Wario and single player Dr Mario is the lack of music choices, and that if you press down while pill halves are falling, they will collapse at the bottom instantaneously. In a way, I think it's actually better for single player gameplay than dr mario is. But I do miss the classic Dr Mario music when playing it.
Yeah, there is a Nintendo of Canada. I don't live on the mainland, but at least a few times when I was young we drove by the Nintendo offices when we were in Vancouver, and I was always like "Ooh!!!" I have no idea where in Vancouver it is though. It's kind of interesting how both the US and CAN Nintendo offices are located in close proximity to each other on the wet coast though.
I'm glad to see that it's coming to Canada. Part of the reason for the worry was that there was that deal in the US with Gamestop. There might be a different distribution deal over here in Canada, or all the wrinkles may not have been ironed out by the time the official announcement took place.
I'll definitely be pre-ordering it wherever it is sold (preferably at a brick and mortar store)
@MAddogz: While I don't necessarially agree with NyanCat, I do understand their sentiment. After the whole petition and reaction from NoA, I'm pretty pissed off myself at them. It may just be another "I can neither confirm nor deny," but it's kinda like a stab in the heart for that many fans to get snubbed by such a dear company to them. That being said, I'm happy for you guys and a little jealous of you guys in Europe, and I may have to find another way to play the games if they don't get released over here.
And yes, I do acknowledge that you guys in Europe missed out on a lot of good games in the past too. It goes both ways I guess.
I can honestly admit that while the single player in DKR was a lot better and a lot more fun than in Mario Kart 64, with its uniqueness and cute storyline and all, its multiplayer always felt weak to me compared to MK64, mostly because there were only 2 different battle levels to choose from plus other games to play. If there were a few more battle tracks, I'd probably think differently. Other than that, MK64 felt quite light because compared to DKR it only had basic cup racing and nothing more.

Re: Nintendo Goes Mobile With iPhone Cases
That Boo is great. I want. (except I don't have an iPhone)
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th May 2012 (Europe)
I don't know about the game, but the cover for Metal Slug 3 looks pretty awesome imo.
Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!
I also miss the country flags too. It really was interesting to see differences of opinion, and I hope they come back soon!
