Re: Talking Point: Is There A Future For The Wii U Without The GamePad?

Zero_Revolution

Keep it, it makes Wii U a unique console, Nintendo is actually making each one of their consoles a completely new experience. The Gamepad works well, and is a surprisingly comfortable controller despite the size. I see nothing wrong with it, even though there hasn't been a game to make "full" use of it's potential, it still adds something great to each game. (even if it's just off-tv play)

With the Galaxy HD Collection, why not combine the two games into one? Galaxy 2 felt basically like DLC to the original, almost as though they were one game before. They could just use one hub world and be able to access the Galaxies from both games. (in a different order so it's from easiest to hardest with levels from both games being in only one)

The majority of these games interest me, Nintendo really needs to get on these ideas for some new games. They'd earn so much money from me and other people...

For Mario and Luigi's Mansion, I feel like part of what makes Luigi's Mansion so great is that it is a game starring Luigi, rather than Mario taking over his spot. Yeah, there were some games starring him for Year of Luigi, but it was only for one year.

I'm most looking forward to Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Shantae Pirate's Curse, Bravely Default is something I'll have to look into though. The others don't excite me at all, and I'd rather get Smash Bros. on Wii U than 3DS. I'm in hopes of some new interesting games to be announced for the 3DS later this year, as there doesn't seem t be much coming. Probably because Nintendo is focusing more on Wii U.
