Re: 3DS Stays on Top in Japan, but Wii U Falls Behind Vita

@Rapadash6 There actually have been times the PS3 sold less than that, and the Xbox 360 hasn't sold that many units in Japan for a long time, the PS3 is doing just fine and I don't remember the anyone thinking the Xbox 360 was in a pickle either.

Re: New Fire Emblem: Awakening DLC Details Battle For Attention

@uel They release it as they make it, would you rather wait a year to be able to play any of it?
Ontop of that, there are 25 DLC 'episodes,' 7 have been released in 3 weeks, ( I assume it will be 9 in 4 weeks.) if they continue at that rate it will be about 3 months (If they don't put in a long pause between the release of the first set and second set.) you have to wait if you really have to have all the DLC.

@LordessMeep Yeah, pretty much the only DLC that really tells more about the story are the 3 Future of Dispare (As they were called in Japan.) levels, the rest are hardly related to the main story, even then you could just find out on the internet if you don't want to pay for it.

@FOURSIDE_BOY For those children containing paralogue chapters, I would recommend you to use premoted units, for most of them, that is.

Also, yes, sheesh, it's five chapters including the prologue (Six if you really want to include the premotion.) you have to play through, it's not that much, it could be done in an hour or two, it's not like you would be able to play any of the DLC at the start of the game anyways, your units are probably too weak at that point to even take on the easiest of them. (Except possibly Frederick.)

Re: Ubisoft CEO Not Satisfied With Wii U Sales

@rjejr except Nintendo didn't say they would sell that many, as the article stated many times, those numbers were just projections and estimates, not factual knowledge and complete guarantees about the subject... Although I don't see what the rest of the stuff you were talking about relates to the question I was asking @Waltz.

@Bankai Obviously there are things never revealed to the public, a projection isn't a promise, though, it's an educated guess, and thus shouldn't be trusted wholeheartedly, it's Ubisoft's choice on wether they want to support a new console as much as they did, but it's a risk Ubisoft decided to take, like with any business venture.
The Wii U also has a month left to get to 4 million consoles sold, so they may be unhappy now, but it still has a large amount of game releases to change that number, So... They probably wouldn't change these complaints at all, as those numbers wouldn't be that great anyways, but it's not like they were unexpected.

I don't see a reason to discuss this further either, as there are other things I find far more entertaining which I would rather do.

And so the third parties have every right to be annoyed when Nintendo fails to deliver on its promises to them.

You wouldn't mind sharing what those promises Nintendo made to "third parties" are, would you?
Because I don't remember hearing Nintendo promise to sell X amount of consoles.

@SCAR392 I'm pretty sure he just said he wasn't interested, not bashing it or anything, I don't know where you got that from, unless you're talking about the comments on this article in general.

I'm also willing to bet Ubisoft will give us the game.
A straight port of the 360/PS3 version 8 months after they come out.

Re: Talking Point: The Emergence of "Niche" Japanese Titles Into The Nintendo Mainstream

@Gamesake I would hope they do, I also think that if they do, NOA will change the name to Binding Blade, because, in Awakening, a character you can get, Owain, in some of his supports, he shouts the name of different games(His 'special moves') I've seen him mention Radiant Dawn, Sacred Stones, Blazing Sword and Binding Blade so far, I imagine they were talking about Fuuin no Tsurugi, or it might not mean anything.
