Re: Shigeru Miyamoto States There Are "A Few" Zelda Titles In Development, Aiming To Evolve The Series

@Azooooz it's been a fan favourite for a long time and didn't get the proper remake treatment yet that Ocarina of Time got. It's more or less that people expect it now. So, your question, what's so great? To me it was that it was very puzzle/mini quest heavy. The three day function works really well with creating lots of content in small areas. I absolute loved that. It's a very strange Zelda story though, so that alone turns some people off. I haven't played it since N64 so I'm hoping for a remake too. My first thoughts on the game then were that gameplay wise it's better than Ocarina, but the world and story were not as compelling. All in all, a great game in its own right.

Re: Review: Street Fighter Alpha 2 (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)

This game does not deserve an 8/10. The arcade version was fantastic and only the Sega Saturn could really replicate that at the time. Even the Playstation version had issues. The SNES version was a case of over reaching with the condole. It couldn't match the visuals and animation, and in trying to go completely messed up the rhythm, timing, and flow. Admirable rest porting this to snes but it was a failure. I wouldn't recommend this version to anyone.

For all the problems with the Wii U the Virtual Console has to be the most infuriating. I thought when the Wii U was announced that by now we would be playing a full library of N64, GameCube, NES, and super NES games. Instead each week I wait to find overpriced garbage. Once in a while we'll get a gem. Come on Nintendo, there's millions like me begging for you to take our money and you won't. This is probably the easiest problem for the Wii U to fix but they think somehow making VC games rare it makes them more special. Can I just play damn Yoshi's Island snes already? What about Mario Sunshine??? Dag nambit!

@Kirk yeah and that's the problem with Nintendo's design. They were short sighted and made it to compete with the 360 and ps3. Personally I buy nintendo consoles for first party anyway, but this will hurt them. I think most gamers will have a ps4 or Xbox one by the time this releases. I have a ps4 to play most games but nintendo is my favorite developer.

@Marshi of course it's your logic, and one you are entitled to, but I don't think it's as black and white as you make it out to be. It was a small group of people who got together to form a game company and he got arrested. It's not he has shares in the company. With your logic we should not support NASA because they knowingly employed NAZI's. I don't think it's right, in principal, to hold innocent people accountable for the actions of one creep. They did all the right things to distance themselves from him after the accusations came to light. Like I said, you're entitled to feel that way, but I wish you would employ empathy for those around him that were affected instead of condemnation.

@Marshi I got your reply in my email but the moderators deleted it. Of course you should "feel strongly" against child porn. Hopefully we all do. My point was that it is inherently wrong to condemn the whole team for one creep. It's not like they supported what he was doing or even knew about it. I'm sure everyone in his life, including his family, was surprised and devastated. The team got rid of him immediately but unfortunately, people like you, want to hold everyone accountable for the actions of what one creep does in his spare time. I hope you never get judged for something one of your friends does. It's completely unfair but in a world of no second chances and unfounded accountability I guess that makes sense to some people.

Re: Interview: Denis Dyack on Shadow of the Eternals, Community Engagement and Eternal Darkness

I'm surprised more Wii U fans aren't supporting this game. In my opinion Nintendo needs a graphically impressive game, let alone an adult horror game with great gameplay systems. I think if this game isn't supported by Wii U owners it will either not get made or they will go straight to Sony or MS for funding. Amazing that one 3rd party actually wants to support Wii U and people aren't supporting them back. It's only $25 and if it doesn't find you won't get charged...

Re: Interview: Denis Dyack on Shadow of the Eternals, Community Engagement and Eternal Darkness

People just need to look at what's being done with this game. Graphically it would really show off what the Wii U is capable off. They had a live stream if the game the other night and went into debug mode to show off the details. Cryengine3 is stellar and they said it will be virtually identical on Wii U. I hope Wii U fans back this up and help and pledge on kickstarter; a great game like this on Wii U might help sell the system.

Re: Interview: Denis Dyack on Shadow of the Eternals, Community Engagement and Eternal Darkness

Denis definitely is treated unfairly. I pledged to this game for a mere $25 and you are getting quite a bit in return. Denis has been nothing but nice, helpful, and enthusiastic. For people dissapointed in xmen and too human (underrated), he still as some impressive titles under his belt. I really think Wii U needs a game like this and for a low $25 you get a kick donkey follow up to one of the best games ever. Also, you get to be apart of the dev team.
