@Yosher the reason climbing freezes the game is so pokemon don’t wait for you in the end of the stairs thus trapping you

@Yosher the graphics don’t affect the game’s quality, this is fact. Second off the idea that uninteresting battle animations are a new thing is stupid, they always had that, even when they evolved into the ds they refused to even give the pokemon different sprites for when they fought, just a still image while a png of a fire ball rolls around them meanwhile an actual legit kingdom hearts game can run on the same console. And pokemon and nintendo run the funding, gamefreak, the studio that develops the game has no say on the funding, deadlines etc. Please do your research

@Yosher first off gamefreak is not a multi billion dollar company, just because their publishers are doesn’t insure they get most of the wealth, second off do you just repeat the same thing over and over like a broken record whenever the word pokemon is uttered? Do you just look up the word pokemon to respond with “hurr durr multi billion dollar company” ? Pokemon fans get a hobby challenge

@Trajan again, these are one of the best rated games in the history of games, no offense to spyro and crash but they’re just standard good games, these games are comparable to masterpieces, mario 64 built the path to 3d platformers, mario sunshine reinvented platforming, and mario galaxy has to be seen to be believed, these games are all extremely incredible so it makes sense why they would be comparable. I mean comparing the spyro collection to these games is like comparing a steak to a high class dish, they’re both great but one is significantly deserving of a higher price

@Trajan so sunshine is 40 dollars, add it with mario 64 which is for 10 dollars, mario galaxy for 60 dollars. Yeah I don’t see how they’re overpriced.

@Trajan a lot of nintendo games were rated horribly, but these are one of the best rated games of all time, of course they would be rated 9/10. And if you’ll complain about the price then listen to this, super mario 64 can sell at around 10 dollars on the wii u shop, sunshine is very rare and can sell at 400 dollars, mario galaxy can still be found in some modern stores at around 30-60 dollars, also also these games aren’t like super mario bros or sonic the hedgehog, these are extremely good game that hold up very well today in terms of gameplay, i mean if mario galaxy or sunshine came out today (with modern graphics of course) they would still be just as (if not more) good as other modern games, just because they’re old doesn’t mean they don’t hold up, also prices don’t get put into reviews anyways because that makes the review very prone to getting dated as prices tend to change as times go on.

@broskiplays mario 64, sunshine are all extremely good. they’re one of the best videogames out there so this was kind of expected. You’ve got to be very salty to give these three games a bad ratinh

@IpwnedU123 probably because remaking a game at that time wasn’t that hard because it simply meant updating the sprites to have 16 bits while remaking three games into modern next gen standards in one year nowadays is just impossible

If you don’t want these games that’s fine they didn’t hold you on gunpoint and force you to play it but it’s still nice to have the games for newer audiences or people who want to re-experience the game, i mean there’s virtually no way for them to make three video game remakes from the ground up in one year whilst also remaking every single animation, that’s just not how time works

@SalvorHardin shut up, all stars games were always like this, because they’re celebrations which don’t last forever. And if you think i defend nintendo about everything then you’re just wrong, i criticized them for their bad controllers because of the drift, I criticized them for their bad subscription services, i criticized them for botw’s bad dlc, hell i’m not even a nintendo fanboy I play all consoles. just because I’m logical about this doesn’t mean i’m a nintendo fanboy who hates criticism. I mean i hate the fact that it’s limited too but just like how kids hate that Christmas ends, it’s still a celebration and it is limited. They aren’t doing it because of marketing it’s just a celebration, cause if they were just doing it for money then there would be waaaayyy more games like this.

@PlayedNSlayed the joycons are more responsive than the wiimotes actually. Also if by normal controller you mean the pro controller then it’s also fine since it also has motion control

My personal theory is that they wanted all three games to be different so having two games be in the same series would be a bit jarring. Another theory is that they didn’t want to sell four full games for a one game price

I’m celebrating in the best way i can! I spent the last few weeks completing classic mario games and now I’m trying to 100% mario odyssey, that until 3d all stars comes out

I haven’t played any of these games because (little thing known about me) i was kinda raised as a sony kid, I mostly played PlayStation games growing up so I never got to play these games, it was only till early 2010s when I developed a love for Nintendo games. overall I’m excited for all of these but i’ll play them in their release order

@Olddantrucker breath of the wild is an entirely new game while super mario 3d all stars is just a game compilation. Also breath of the wild wasn’t released to celebrate anything it was just a game they made, whilst 3d all stars was specifically made so they can celebrate the anniversary

I don’t like that decision much personally but it makes sense considering it’s a celebration. I don’t think it’s purely a business decision i think they just wanted to keep it special

Also if you’re talking about it being a limited time release then you’re missing the point, it’s celebration, celebrations last for a limited time which means that certain products related to said celebration will also be limited, which is why this game is limited. If you’re talking about It being 60 dollars then you do need to remember that these are three full games that all hold up really well, hell some of them are even more expensive to buy on their own. Not everything that you don’t like is anti consumer.

No one can control their vitiligo or their freckles or skin cancer, these are things they have no control over, telling them their ugly or that they’re freaks for something they never even chose, something that they have no say over, is generally Disgusting. And about the weight thing, not everyone can afford to workout and have a healthy diet, some people are busy some people are stressed, and besides being overweight doesn’t strictly come from overeating, there’s stress, lack of sleep, overworking which increases the sugar level causing people to go overweight, and expecting them to somehow fit in working out and an extreme diet into their schedule and expecting them to keep it this way will only make things worse As it will not only cause more stress making it harder to get thin but it’ll most likely destroy their work schedule, my dad couldn’t ever get thin as he was too busy working to fit a roof on our roof and you really think it’s healthier for people like him to drop everything that they have for an unrealistic stupid beauty standard ? I mean i said it before and i’ll say it now, a lot of people prefer bigger thicker people than thin people, a lot of people think freckles and vitiligo are cute (i do too) it’s not your job to tell people whether they’re beautiful or not because of something they cannot control
