@Kingy Took the words right out of my mouth (Mostly). I've been a fan since the original game was released, and while I don't share your hatred for IV (I think it's decent, just not the best storytelling), I absolutely LOATHE 5. It doubles down on weird sex appeal, ruins the story and character development of Miku, and is so repetitive and ugly. I played the Wii U version and had to stop halfway through because of a chase sequence where I kept getting stuck on the environment and dying.
Honestly, I don't know why people say it's not good. I thought it was incredible. It's painful to play because you're playing as a Mexican person in a predominately white, post-Trump setting and you have to see some pretty rough stuff. I cried like a baby at the end.
D3 is the first Danganronpa game I enjoyed without caveats. The gross fanservice is tamed back. The homophobia, sexism, transphobia is gone. The storytelling and twists are ramped up to 11. It's such a great game and one that I still think about all the time. You know something is great when you think about the conclusion of the first case and still have troubles coming to terms with what happened because it shook you to your core so much.
Skip 1 and 2 and play 3 if you haven't started the series. The story is mostly self-contained and what you need to know about 1 and 2 is explained.
Damn, not only did they add in same-gender romance, but the trailer makes it clear they've updated the anime cutscenes too. I'm impressed and excited to finally try out this series!
After how completely terrible 5 was, I'm not hopeful. 2 and 3 were AMAZING, 4 was okay (The fake items with the hands grabbing you was ANNOYING) and then 5 was this weirdly horny mess that ruined Miku's legacy, had character's panties showing, and was just janky as fuzz. I couldn't play anymore because of a section where if a ghost touched you, it was instant death, but I kept getting stuck in the level geometry and she would just appear out of nowhere.
@eltomo No, they said they'd have more news in the future. They never confirmed whether or not it'll actually get here. Nibelsnarfing Nintendo Nintendoing this left and right.
@Moon Basically there's a bug in the English 3DS version where if you save during the puzzle section of the Pressure Exchange Chamber, your save file becomes corrupted. It happened to me and it sucked.
Just don't save during that part. Otherwise you should be fine.
Word of advice: Try not to save during the puzzle sections, only during the story mode.
ESPECIALLY do not save in the Pressure Exchange Chamber. There is a game-breaking bug that happens if you save during this part that Chunsoft was never able to patch.
@Moon If you notice, there's the flowchart in the game. That shows you where you are in terms of the branching storyline. If you save and jump to another branch, you should be able to jump back.

WHERE'S THE CHAO GARDEN?????
Re: Bethesda's Todd Howard "Can't Say" If Skyrim on Switch is the Special Edition
@icebear80 The gameplay is identical. The SE just adds extra graphical effects, and I believe, all the original DLC.

I'll only play this if they give us Chao again.

Re: Video: Get a Good Look At Zero Time Dilemma on 3DS
@Moon That's not a thing. Savescumming is part of the Zero Escape experience. You're supposed to reload your saves to view other outcomes.
