By the way, anyone else wonder if the only humans they actually gave a crap about were Samus, Adam, and Anthony? Everyone else just seemed so ugly, plain, and not worked on at all.
Man, I was really hoping that biased site after biased site, this place would be the one to come to for positive Nintendo reactions.
Oh well, at least I get a good laugh.
In all honesty, hearing that they finally got word and will probably produce a quality Mario title again has made me excited. Super Mario Galaxy 3, perhaps? Not sure where else to go after space...
Actually, if I recall correctly, in Zelda II, the Princess Zelda is put under a curse that was caused by her bratty brother. Feeling ashamed, he called for every newborn princess to be named "Zelda".
"A long time ago the Prince of Hyrule had tried to obtain the Triforce, but Zelda refused to tell him the location of it. In order to extract the information from her, he brought in a Magician to interrogate her. Unable to find out any information, the wizard cast a sleeping spell on her, which also resulted in his own death. The prince, being unable to reverse the spell, had his sister placed in the castle tower, in the hope that she would one day be awakened. He decreed that all females born to the royal family from that point on would be named Zelda, in remembrance of this tragedy." From this page: http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Zelda_II
In other news, we got motion controls, and now this story is probably going to be another thing people will whine about. Personally, I'm all for it, though it all comes down to how great the gameplay will be, which I know it will be!
Wait, this actually has multiplayer for the 3DS Virtual Console? Please tell me that's true, and not a typo, because that would be the best thing about these Virtual Console games.
Some of these screenshots make me wonder the the heck this guy was thinking. Look at the first few Super Smash Bros. Melee screens, and you'll see what I mean.
If by "Custom character" you mean "Create your own Nintendo hero" then count me in. I was always hoping for something like that, even though they'll probably mess it up in the process!
Now, if they could get balancing issues sorted out by some sort of update rather than having to rely on hacking like the Brawl community did, that'd be the best ever.
Man, am I glad I haven't been spoiled by the XBox Live Marketplace nor the PSN, as it makes this all the more amazing.
No, I'm not calling people who use that kind of thing spoiled, I'm sure the Live Marketplace and PSN are a lot better than this, but I'm just speaking from the point of someone who never had that experience. I guess this thing is really just for people like me who sticks to just Nintendo consoles. How lucky.
Wow. Nintendo's eShop says this game's out now. Either the internet needs to update that it is, or Nintendo has to fix something! ( Most likely the latter ).
Seriously, I was pretty excited, but hesitant. I hope to see more about this soon, especially a review!
People are disappointed about this too, but at least people here seem to be more mature and understanding about this rather than what I read on Joystiq.
I myself will never understand why people get so uppity about this kind of thing. This, and the DSi dropping Gameboy Advance compatibility, seems to cause more drama than it needs to. At least NintendoLife seems to have evaded that drama.
All in all, if you REALLY need to play that badly, it's not like there's no other way to play them. Get an old system for cheap, or keep your old one.
Ah good, I was wondering if I was the only one who was thinking "Drawn to Life". Apparently not.
Too bad no drawing is to be seen, I'd love to put my artistic skills to the test again! There was always a charm going through the game as a character you drew, it would have been nice to do that again with a bit more refinement to the formula.
Man, you sure wrote quite a bit on a game that's quite the classic! Were these based on impressions from not playing this game for a long time, or did you somehow not play this game before and these are your first impressions?

Re: Tales of the Abyss Dated for Europe
Gotta love how Mickeymac pointed out that it's going to be released in NA, yet people are still wondering.

( Though, honestly, I hope it's something new! )
Re: These Are Your Club Nintendo Elite Rewards
Wow, I can't believe people still have high expectations? lol
Really, no one to blame but yourselves.
In other news, nice pins! Can't wait to get them. The only disappointing thing is the wait, now!
Re: Review: Kirby's Dream Land (Game Boy)
Couldn't have said it better myself, really.
Re: Rumour: SEGA Preparing a Third Sonic Storybook Game
People forget that these games were pretty much a step-up from Sonic '06 and Sonic Heroes, in that they were actually pretty decent.
Personally, I'm hoping for a western theme, myself!
Re: Talking Point: The Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D Save File Debate
Man, these comments are hilarious.
Re: NOA: "Never Say Never," But No Plans to Bring Sought-After Wii Games to NA
What kurtasbestos said.
Re: Ocarina of Time at One Point Confined Within Ganon's Castle
By today's standard, Hyrule field is pretty bland, yeah. I think we've forgotten the feeling of the first time we were able to explore it, though.
At least, I remember it being wondrous.

Re: Review: Donkey Kong (Game Boy)
I'm so glad they didn't forget this game, and released it for a newer generation of gamers with a 3DS!
Couldn't recommend it enough.
Re: Super Mario 3DS Has More Thrills, Less Exploration
It makes sense, given the fact that it's supposed to be more along the lines of a 2D Mario game with 3D elements.
Sort of reminds me of Zelda, with that top-down camera.
Re: Review: Tennis (Game Boy)
@WaltzElf
He had it in the second or third paragraph before, however this is revised. I guess he realized the multiplayer doesn't work and changed it.

I wish for this the most. :c

Why is this news?
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 Due "In the Near Future"
Glad that mystery's solved then. Now we wait.

@Straw_Hat_Luffy
This.
Re: Pac-Man Party 3D
For Super Smash Bros., we have Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion.
For Mario Party, we have this.
Re: Rumour: Wii U is 50% More Powerful Than PlayStation 3
Now let's see if it'll shut up complainers for a while.
Probably not.

Don't worry, I was thinking the exact same thing about people being ignorant.

Re: First Impressions: Mutant Mudds (3DSWare)
@komicturtle92
Thank God. I thought I was the only one who noticed.
As for this, I'll be keeping my eyes on this.
Re: Miyamoto: "3DS Could Be a Convenient Wii U Controller"
I was one of the few who actually liked the GBA connecting to the Gamecube. Everyone had a GBA anyway, so all we had to do was buy the cables.
If 3DS sales pick up to the point that everyone has a 3DS like how it was the with DS, this could work nicely indeed.
I'll cross my fingers for this.

So, basically....
Early adopters really got shafted this time, didn't they?

I thought the exact same thing.
Nintendo's publishing it. I have high hopes for this.
Re: Star Fox 64 3D Lands in North America on 11th September
Aw jeez, I came here to see if there was going to be 9/11 comments. I wasn't disappointed. lol
But yeah, that trailer was one of the more impressive ones in 3D. Hopefully it'll leave Star Fox fans satisfied.
Re: Here's 60 Pokemon Codes for Pokedex 3D
Sweet! Too bad a lot of them come out as "Unknown", though.
Can't wait for more!

Cheebo? That ugly green thing isn't Chibi Robo, though! D:

Re: 3DS eShop Has Officially Opened Its Doors
For speedy updaters...it's more like error after error! Hopefully this'll calm down sooner than later.
