I really was expecting the remake to use the same engine and assets as Pokemon Sword/Shield or the Let's Go games and was a little put off by the chibi art style.
That said, I know I'll enjoy playing the game. The fact that the game is being remade to be very close to the originals probably means it will be a very nostalgic experience.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus seems to be closer to the remake I was hoping for in terms of art style.
Actually I'm going into 2021 with a Switch and Xbox Series S, instead of the series X. I play a lot of games on the PC, and more and more on the Xbox Game Pass for PC, so it makes sense for me to go back to Xbox after going for the PS4 last generation. I also travel and move around a lot! So the compact size of the Series S is a big reason for me to choose that over the X. Power and graphics capability for me isn't the top priority when it comes to my console gaming...which I think a lot of people on this site can relate to!
This game is one of the main reasons I'm staying fit this year! I absolutely love it! The only thing that could make it better for me is if I could download it so I don't need to keep switching cartridges all the time.
Yeah I got there an hour too late. One hour! I would expect that if I was a day or few late then sure I would miss out, but an hour past and the codes are no longer available. I don't know which is more to blame: the scalpers (and their bots), the large number of fans who wanted these pins as well, or Nintendo's limited stock.
It's frustrating and I know I'm not alone in saying that the limited quality of such things leaves a bad taste in consumers mouths, which for me greatly diminishes the artificial value of the items due to their scarcity.

Re: Poll: Did You Know That Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Supports Up To Four Players?
I suppose I never really thought about it, but it makes sense that 4 would be allowed. I would have expected at the very least 2!
