Judging by its steady sales, Donkey Kong Bananza seems to have settled into the position of a staple title that will keep selling as the Switch 2 becomes more widespread. I'm glad — it's a masterpiece that deserves to be in the hands of many people.
This week, I'll be getting Mosa Lina, which was released on the 28th. This game is a masterpiece of a compact puzzle game, achieving genuinely creative gameplay through its original game design that introduces randomness into the puzzle genre.
It is not the emulation itself that Nintendo claims is stifling innovation, but the piracy of Nintendo games using emulators, and emulators themselves are commonly used in VC, NSO, NES Classic, etc. I don't see what the problem with this is.
Inawa and Rogma are anagrams of iwana and maguro, respectively. iwana means Whitespotted char in Japanese, and maguro means Tuna in Japanese. The names of EoW's Zora characters are thought to be derived from the names of fish.
