@Assassinated weirdly the sane definition of hundredweight is American - a short hundredweight is 100 pounds. The UK version (long hundredweight) is 8 stones or 112 pounds.
I'd guess the UK version is used here, so 0.31 hundredweight is about 35 pounds.
@DLevene17 Weirdly that is almost exactly what some people felt about Super Monkey Ball on the Wii over the Gamecube versions, i.e. some of us found it clunky using the Wii remote rather than having the fine control of the Gamecube controller.
I've been really enjoying it - I haven't paid a penny and currently have all but one of the first week's courses marked as completed.
However, having said that, I think the paid aspect is overpriced and has scummy gambling mechanics and in its current form they won't get a penny from me.
@construx Even on PC it can be quite expensive - on Steam right now the base game is £49.99, Gathering Storm is £34.99 and Rise and Fall £24.99. For PC you can buy a code for the base game for much less elsewhere, but I think the expansions are only generally cheaper during sales.
I wandered into the Bullring branch of Game yesterday and was surprised to see Mario running on the demo Ouya setup. I was surprised that Game were doing this, but I'm not exactly outraged - I believe copyright terms should be brought down to around 25 years anyway.
Having just completed my hat collection I was hoping for a streetpass quest 3, but I think the DLC will do when I get past the bugs and actually purchase the stuff.
I'm happy to see that you can now meet miis more than 99 times (live in a house with more than one 3DS and this rapidly becomes a noticeable limit).
I've watched the kids play this and it looks like fun, but yet again there are only 3 save files (Wii games had the same problem). Each of my kids has grabbed a save which means I'm stuck waiting for one of them to finish before I can have a serious playthrough. I'd hoped that with the introduction of a console with individual accounts this kind of messed up junk would be a thing of the past.
I really hope the time limits are back - I loved and replayed the original Pikmin several times just to get the number of days down. The lack of time limits in Pikmin 2 meant I never bothered finishing the game. I like a bit of challenge to my gaming.
@mikejonesuk Assuming Nintendo really want the family market it is a huge problem.
The channels and games wanted by different members of my family (and oddly the ability to save games) have completely blown the memory. Moving anything to the SD card requires negotiating since I'm not letting the kids decide what gets deleted (chances are one of them will end up deleting something one of the others want without backing up and there will be hell to pay).

Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Is Now Available At The Build-A-Bear Workshop
I think this design would work if we ever got a game based around a young sonic

I nearly bought Mario Maker 2 yesterday, looks like I may have had a lucky escape.

Your mileage obviously does vary.

Re: Sonic Monopoly Scraps The Usual Formula For Rings, Emeralds And Boss Battles
@RupeeClock Ordinary Monopoly uses two dice, so you can't roll a 1 in that either.
Re: Reminder: Rate Your Favourite GameCube Games
My top 5 (not in order) are Windwaker, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, Animal Crossing and Shrek 2.
One of those may be a surprising choice, but Shrek 2 was a fun co-op game and I have really good memories playing it with my eldest son.
Re: Nintendo's Market Value Drops By $1 Billion After Animal Crossing Switch Delay
Animal Crossing delayed feels normal to me. I'm pretty sure every version after the original has had large delays.
