Re: Nintendo Still Has More To Share On Switch Online Before Launch

Well cloud saves to back up save data, lol. Seeing as the Switch has no way to back up players save data unlike the PS4 and Xbox1 using a SD or USB stick, so if something goes wrong with your Switch you might well lose hundreds of hours of gaming time, it's happened to some owners already. Basically we can pay for this basic feature which Switch owners should have had from the get go anyway!

@thesilverbrick I think it unlocks the new Mario odyssey levels they added straight away without needing to play through each level again, probably for those who've already played it to death on the WiiU F'up console so they can play them from the beginning. Also as it's probably the main reason they've paid for the same game pretty much again?

Re: Random: Amazon Doesn't Seem Too Confident On Dark Souls: Remastered's Switch Release

Well at least the Switch is getting a 100 digital shovelware games and old mobile app games on the eshop each week, lol. Still just giving us a vague summer 2018 release for Dark souls and in a couple of months the summer is over! If being held back for Nintendo's paid online subscription then until Nintendo actually have an online service with the ability to be on par with Sony and Microsoft, streaming, broadcasting, game voice chat and party chat without needing to use the dumb mobile app I won't be paying two subscription fees to Sony and Nintendo. Will just give in and buy the PS4 version and it will be half the price by the time they actually release the Switch version if ever they do? If it was originally planned to release a long side the PlayStation and Xbox versions back in May and don't get the sudden unlimited time delay! Back to Captain Toad, on the Wiiu, Opps I mean Switch. Gets confusing with all the Wiiu ports on the Switch. At least we finally got Wolfenstien 2 which is an amazing port, probably the best the 3rd party triple A ports will get. Just a pity I still find like Doom my aiming is more by strafing as I just can't get into motion controls on the Switch, but it is still great fun.

Re: Nintendo Takes A Swipe At Sony Over Fortnite's Cross-Platform Issues On Switch

Sometimes everybody gets a bit cross when they play, especially from campers in CoD. No room for camping in Fortnite as the rad storm closes in. It isn't the end of the world just start a new account on the Switch version. Ok if you have been flash and spent a bit of cash on this free game for some skins or emo's, just spend it again on the eshop like Mark Miller from ignore has done. Sorted.

Re: Release Window Between Consoles And Switch "Shrinking All The Time" Says Panic Button Boss

Bethesda have been able to get ports like Skyrim (which is actually a pretty old game today as originally it got released on 360/PS3, but was later given the remastered treatment and sold again on current gen Xbox1 and PS4 I believe like a lot of games they sell people several times over, and say it's worth full price yet again because it looks a little bit nicer or runs at a smooth frame rate, and we have put the little dlc mission in it! I think Skyrim has had been sold 5 times now but I maybe wrong. Skyrim sold on last gen. Then sold on current Xbox1 and PS4 with the old Xbox 360 and PS3 dlc, then sold on the Switch with the same dlc added and also released on PSVR, oh okay sorry 4 times then, but spread on to 6 different systems, or 7 if you count the PC and console platform. The unreal 4 engine seems to work well with the Switch so games like Doom might not look quite as sharp but play just fine on it, when killing space demon's or slaying dragon's on the loo. Just waiting for Dark souls remastered and Wolfenstien 2, but glad the Switch got a decent free to play game now, Fortnite whilst I now wait as Dark souls remastered got a sudden delay on the Switch.
