@Clod do you realize that people not liking Post Malone or Katy Perry are actually the ones out of touch with pop culture? There are more "casuals" than die hard fans of Pokémon out there, there are just more casuals willing to spend money on new games whatever they might be, or buying merch, or streaming songs. Making collabs with popular musicians just appeals to a wider demographic.
You seem to have the picture pretty clear, so how come you don't infere it yourself that these event appeal to a giant mass of public, even if some people on specific videogame related forums on the internet say Pokémon is "out of touch".
I mean look at all the nerds here saying this is "cringe" or whatever when it's literally just a collaboration of one of biggest franchises ever with one of the most popular pop singers of the last decade 🤷♂️
@ritouf you need to know I have a pc too buddy, I also play at 144fps on a different system that doesn't have the same games or ips be picky then, choose not to play it lmao
@SilentHunter382 mate I play first person shooters at 144fps on my setup, I can deal with stuttering on the Switch. Anyone complaining about framerates for the switch is just 🤡🤡🤡
lmao all the people that can't stand framerates lower than 30fps or anything that isn't perfect 1080p make me laugh so hard; seriously how much of a snob do you have to be to pass on a game based on that kind of crap 🤡🤡🤡
@roy130390 lmao and what would "my own advice" be? I'm well aware of what it has been "officially" said and yet what basically everyone sees in the game is a very Splatoon-like vibe. I'm not trying to prove that they ripped off Splatoon or that they lied or whatever man, all I'm saying is that we all can literally just look at the game and say "yeah that's pretty much like Splatoon". Y'all acting like they're being attacked or whatever and are out here defending them for whatever reason.
"They didn't use Splatoon as a reference!" Well it really looks like it anyway, what's the problem? It wouldn't even have that big of a hook if we couldn't pinpoint that similarity. Heck an important number of articles talking about Ninjala, do so basing it around Splatoon 🙃 And it's not a problem.
@JR150 Buddy just drop it, we all agree this game just has the Splatoon thing going on, no matter what the devs said, the resulting product is just too close to what Splatoon is at the moment, hence why everyone just says the same thing.
