Feels like every time I read about a Sonic game, the developers bring up or want to solve phantom problems that don’t exist.
If you don’t want to do iconic levels or music, awesome. Just go and create something new that players will love and want to see in future games until the end of time. They’re doing the first half of that equation. Let’s hope they crush it for the second half.
After clocking 150-200 hours back when this released in 2015, I felt like this was my new favorite game of all-time for a number of years afterwards. Yet I never really feel compelled to go back to it, so I’ve had to readjust that belief over time. Still ranks very highly for that initial experience and I hope to someday get the itch to revisit it.
Some of the people virtue signaling about not taking advantage of glitches because they ruin the experience are the same ones hopping on YouTube for literally anything.
After being disappointed with Skyward Sword upon release and not being as enamored with Breath of the Wild as most are, they really won me back with Tears of the Kingdom and that’s not something I expected at all.
I trust whatever direction it goes next, even if it is a third visit to this iteration of Hyrule.
No matter the generation, people are always so good at telling other people who usually earned their fortune what to do with that money. The same people take 10 years to pay what even fairly higher paid “normal” people pay in a year in taxes.
Looks like a great game. Somehow never crossed my radar.
@smashbrolink I guess we’re just playing differently.
@HorridCrow To an extent, I suppose I am. I’m not in a particular rush to rip through the game, so before using the exploit, I was doing a lot of shrines and doing personal tasks like trying to build up my stock of arrows, not looking stuff up or watching any videos at all. My wife showed me the glitch on her file and I decided to join in on the fun lol.
I normally don’t go for these types of glitches, but I don’t mind in this case since in 30-35 hours of gameplay so far, I’ve probably legitimately earned less than 400 rupees. When a set of essential gear goes for 2000+, yeah, I don’t mind using the trick.

Re: Poll: Will You Be Updating Your Copy Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?
Rolling with no update for the foreseeable future. It’s not even just about the rupees. It’s too much fun duping bombs and high level monster parts.
To the high horse folks, it’s a single player game and the only ones being hurt are the ones using it (not really because it’s fun).

Re: The Mario Movie Is Now "The Third-Biggest Animated Movie Of All Time"
This chest beating about “all-time” always amuses me.
Tickets were 25 cents when something like Snow White came out in 1937. Tickets average $10.50 in 2023.
Anyone comparing these numbers unadjusted is dishonest when making boasts about “of all-time.”

Turned auto updates off.
