@Zulzar I don't care much about graphics (or I would not be playing games on switch, hehe). My problem with these remastered games is often that they were once supposed to have impressive graphics which have aged horribly.
These old 00-years games haven't aged well. Another example would be KOTOR. Sure, the nostalgia is there. But the games are just too ugly, even remastered.
It's a port of the tabletop game of the same name, which is settled in the warhammer universe and has the races therein compete in a really bloody version of American Football. It's great. Personally, I would not have needed the cutscenes this new version seems to entail. Would have instead preferred more rules clarifications, tutorials and better game flow and an UI.
Naaah, this is not a good game. The storzy seemed interesting, but gameplay was wonky and just not good. Didn't even wait for it to become boring/repetitive and refunded after an hour when I played this on steam.
@Octane_st1m if it where profitabel for EA to port Mass Effect to Switch, they'd do so. Of course, this is just an example, goes for any other dev or publisher as well, I would think.
Lots of smaller studios do so, because here's the thing: it's awesome to play games on the switch, a lot of people own one and so, want to play games there.
Nintendo should entice people to make good ports of their games for the switch. Entice'em with money .
@Octane_st1m so Nintendo needs to motivate people to publish on switch. Or have more players switch over to the deck
@anoyonmus because EA hates switch players and their money?and isn't publishing on switch just to spite them? I don't buy it. They are a business, they make business decisions and need to be enticed to publish porta on certain platforms which might require extra effort.
@anoyonmus well, right now I am playing mass effect legendary edition on my deck. Why has this game not been released on switch? Don't tell me it's because of the hardware! I don't believe it's because EA doesn't like money, either. So, what follows as I see it, Nintendo might have to approach publishers and developers and make the switch more attractive as a platform to release games on. Money might help there. Nintendo does have a console that has sold very well. But they do need some games to run on it. Badly. And I don't think that EA, a company that has mentioned that it might be open to being bought, would be all that uninterested in cooperating.
As I have mentioned before, I'm just damn happy about having a steam deck and not being tied to one platform. I still love the switch, and i don't feel competent enough to speak to the need for a more powerful one, but clearly Nintendo has to do SOMETHING to get more games on there. This is getting sad... have they tried giving money to developers?
@BloodNinja @Bucket and they were more fun and less competitive!
well, one could still play the old rules. I'm sure there are a few PDFs out there, if you don't have the books... just a question of finding some like-minded players. And enough time. The second one seems even more daunting. Hence, videogames.
Naah, not for me. Big star wars need & played on wii (a long time ago in a galaxy...). Would like to replay, but for some reason, it really bothers me that the graphics are THIS bad 😕

@Dr_Luigi The online infrastructure does, though, doesn't it?
Re: Poll: A Plague Tale: Requiem - Cloud Version Is Out Today On Switch, Will You Be Getting It?
How can it still be profitable to release cloud gaming titles on switch?? I can't imagine enough people are buying this stuff.

@BloodNinja I much preferred the newer plastic over the pewter models though. I remember cutting meltas away from poor marines....
And resin can go suck on a rock.
@Bucket Dude I would go ALL IN on an Imperial Guard FPS called "Lasgun"

Hmpf.

A melta is not a shotgun!!
