My biggest gripe with this demo...
After all the time I spent searching & kicking down pikipeks & youngooses with all my HATE*,
I wasn't even allowed to hold on to my new Rockruffs & Pikapals!

*reeeaaally not fond of the new generation's art style overall.

Personally, I find MK to be a total blast with motion controls when compared to the standard.
*Also, RaymanRavingRabbids would never be the same without em either xD

I'll agree, they can be a major pain when they're forced on the player (especially if you lose calibration, ie:Loz SS bug hunting)

Ideally, there should always be an option rather than favoring one control scheme over another.

D-pad threw me off as well, but surely nothing 3rd parties can't take care of?

As for the Pro Controllers, after the confusion they've already generated with the other bunch..
I wouldn't keep my hopes up. Sure, yours might still be compatible (if you're 'lucky') but I'm positive the most likely scenario would be that you'll be limited to only a few select titles. -.-;
I swear, you can never trust Ninty when it comes to supporting their own accessories AT ALL.

Was Nintendo seriously afraid of others ''copying'' snap on buttons? /there's tablets out there that do this already. :T
This "new" concept itself was even suggested since the days of Gba, if I'm not mistaken. o_O

Anyways, very comforting to know I'm not the only one underwhelmed here. ;-;

-Name & Console dock- Yeah, they're kinda neat, I suppose (going to miss the lovely blue light tho -sniffle-)
-Tablet + controllers on the other hand.. EW -why so bland?

Being part of that minority that prefers Nintendo's quirky ''gimmicks'' over traditional play/power- I can't help but feel a bit let down with this design.

It really should have tried to stand out a lot more, rather than just *look like a Wiiu v.2 -"only this time with detachable controllers!'' ~While also wishing it embraced VR/AR or some form of 'futuristic' technology.

So far.. all I'm seeing is a generic tablet ...that plays Ninty exclusive games ... on the go (nothing for me here, though I can see how others can appreciate that feature)
But when it comes down to it, this what the WiiU SHOULD have been from the start!

At this rate, I'd probably find myself more excited for a 3ds-Tv adapter =/

~Sigh~ but whatevs, right? It's all about the games. Even I can't deny my curiosity for what's to come, now that we'll finally? have better 3rd party support!
Games & price point will determine how long I wait to adopt my own N.S.

this could be a real product that's not actually a Nintendo development kit or prototype; it could be a controller / handset from another manufacturer that's being posed as the NX.

And it just so happens to match the patent image so well? Isn't too soon for imitations? Even if simply a matter of design theft - boy, it takes serious guts to have your product take over that ugly duckling!

But let's say it turns out to be the real deal..
Aren't you peeps being too quick to dismiss, just a tad? I can understand the disappointment with the design, but we've still to learn of its 'Nintendo charm' & what games await!

Very true, then to think of all the people we regularly encounter that are often taken granted or downright disrespected..
Mail carriers, drivers, janitors, repair, teachers, (and the list is infinite..)
Simply acknowledging another's hard work can go such a long way, but even that is not enough o..o
Mayhaps it's just me growing old & cranky but... "kids these days" lol

Accessories , they'd be stupid not to! Then again..this IS Nintendo we're talking about (if it is a thing ,it wouldn't surprise me if it came as micro-$)
Definitely wouldn't count on any major mii updates 👎-though I'd love to be proven wrong.
Always left me wondering why they couldn't include a color wheel option (for: eyes,hair,skin or shirt)
Also wouldn't hurt to include more hairstyles (Mohawks ,anyone? xP)

But I'm with ya, the program as a whole has been painfully limited as heck..

How amazing would it be if they actually went all out on this?
-Release a proper pokedex:with the voice options (or update the 3ds one)
-A watch alternative to that plus gizmo..
-AR Headset option or at least during tournaments
-Voice commands?
-Actually give them unique personalities & quirks

-Side games similar to the beauty contests & interactivity that plays more like Nintendogs, and pkmn Snap!

Even so, it seems that they're doing a fine job raising that child..
They're teaching him to respect and care for his and other people's property , making him more considerate & aware of the consequences,

My original Ds survived many spills (choc milk directly onto the buttons), several falls & who knows what other cruel forms of abuse..(by cousin)
Still he carried on like a champ :'3

I'm completely fine with the other Loz characters talking, almost similar to FE (like when they only speak out a line or two)

It's only a larger screen.. and demo units have always been fairly up to date- so what exactly is new here?

Also going by some of their past designs, I doubt the LE shirts will be anything special (they tend to be cheesy or too plain -iyam)
