I dunno. Reminds me a lot of Metallica's S&M: If you add something on top of an already completed song, there's a tendency to overdo it and compete for attention, as if to say "Hey, listen! Here's something new I added to the song, cool innit?" By itself, yeah, maybe, but the song itself already has it's points of focus, and dubbing over it with an overly-eager drum solo ain't gonna help.
S&M was the same way: only the songs specifically written with the orchestra in mind were any good, the rest sounded like two different bands blaring noise at one another.
@Pahvi Quite the opposite. This demo is perfect. It's short, it shows what the game is all about, and it shows the start of the story.
Plus, it's a nonstop rollercoster of crazy poopoodoodoocacapoopledoople. Literally, every time they show you something cool, they one-up themselves with something even cooler. From the reviews of the full game, this keeps going until the very end.
@Action51 Yep, that's exactly what will happen. They'll release a piss-poor port, remove DLC and DLC capabilities, charge $60 bucks for it and then complain and moan because nobody bought it.
Yeah, no doggeyoopsiepoopiepoodle. Why would they take unfinished software like this and master it to a real metallic disc instead of just burning it and writing "Watch_Dogs, internal copy, do not distribute" on it?
@Megaman_D, if you like getting burned, by all means...
I'm telling you straight up, though: The game didn't live up to the hype either graphically or gameplay wise and the Wii U port will be gimped with poor performance and graphics because Ubisoft wants the Wii U to fail and wants an excuse to not have to do actual work when porting to another console.
Ubisoft will delay it and delay it until finally releasing it waay too late. The game will look and play like doggeypoopiepoodle because they didn't put any effort into it, they'll charge $60 bucks for it, and then cry because nobody's buying it.
Watch_Dogs on Wii U isn't even out yet and it's already destined to fail, because Ubisoft doesn't want it to succeed. Everybody who was interested in Watch_Dogs has already bought it on other systems. Nobody's gonna pay full retail price for a doggeypoopiepoodley, lazy port of a 6-month-old game.
@salxicha This is also true. Kind of hard to get excited about a game that's been out for a long while that built up a massive wave of hype and launched only to disappointment.
All of these big games coming out soon that are skipping the Wii U are coming to PC, so no big deal for me. I still won't buy them at full price. Steam Summer/Xmas Sales FTW
@Ristar42 Nobody will buy it for Wii U because they've already played it on other systems. Ubisoft will once again condemn the Wii U as a failed platform because nobody bought Watch_Dogs, even though all the people who were interested in the game bought it before on a different platform.
@gspro15198 It will run and look like doggeypoopie because Ubisoft couldn't be bothered to work on it properly, and they will blame the delay and poor quality on the Wii U hardware, even though it's pretty much identical to the PS3 and XB360 in terms of architecture and much more powerful.
A game like Mario Kart is obviously not canon, so why not make it more of an homage to what makes Nintendo awesome, like Smash Bros? Nintendo has incredible IP, they should use it however and whenever they can.
@DankeyKang Here's the quick and dirty: Activision just recently announced that their latest CoD game was not coming to the Wii U, so it seems like they're slowly/quietly withdrawing support. Then they come around and say "Oh, but Nintendo is great, we love them!"

Re: Feature: Breaking Down Over 50 Must-See Things in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
@brewsky A single layer Blu-Ray holds 25GB. A dual-layer Blu-Ray holds 50GB.
Re: Miley Cyrus Confuses Fans by Owning a Wii U
Let's see: 21 years old and unlimited disposable income?
I think the bigger story would be if Miley Cyrus DIDN'T have a Wii U.
