I have been loading that page for months now many times a day and missed the first chance. I checked it out on the way home from work and the page had a high traffic queue going and warned that refreshing the page would give up my spot. I kept the page up the entire way home and by the time I pulled into my driveway, the page loaded a pre-order option. Best limited closed pre-order experience.
I find it ironic that the game that literally pushes their console to its limits is also one of the most common games found in people's library. Also, Nintendo has played the lesser hardware card since gen6 consoles yet bank on a game that could make best use of better hardware. With the Wii is sort of made sense because they were tapping into a new market. With the Wii U it sort of made sense because gen7 had not come out yet. The switch is not much more powerful than the 360. Jesus that's like 16 years......
We rented this one as our second title. Family Video had a rent one get two which was cool for playing games life this. Mario golf on GBC was better because your character had stats that you could add to over time as you played more rounds. You could even add a draw or straighten out your shot.
