Re: Nintendo Download: 26th July 2012 (North America)

Wario Land is a definite must buy! As for Planet Crashers... I best wait for reviews of it before making a $10 investment. I do love Renegade Kid, but $10 is quite a lot for an eShop game. I love RPGs but I am going to wait to hear more about this one.

The game sounds quite amazing on paper but the trailer and pictures don't look very promising. I love Renegade Kid, they've made some great games (and by some, I mean Mutant Mudds). They are definitely a promising developer for the 3DS eShop. I hope that they can pull this game through and make another great title.

Re: There'll Be a New Nintendo Direct Tomorrow

SageofShadow

Interesting! I'm curious as to what Nintendo will be talking about. This is so soon after E3, I'm actually a little surprised that they are doing a Direct right after the show. I won't be watching, but I'm sure I'll hear all the news in the next couple of days. I'll definitely stay tuned to the news Nintendo will release!

Re: E3 2012: Miyamoto Talks Zelda Wii U Experiments

Nintendo is heading in a terrible direction. The more 'casual' Zelda sounds like something I would not like to play, especially if it is something as bland as Battle Quest. Currently, it appears that Nintendo is no longer seeking to appeal to the 'hardcore' gamer, and is still attempting to attract 'casual' players. This is extremely problematic as their video games become short, gimmicky, and an utterly flat experience. This direction to appeal to a broader audience in order to have MASS SALES is disheartening. I am not looking forward to the future of Nintendo, if this is the direction they are wanting to continue on. If that is the case, then forget it.

@kyuubikid213: Yes, I totally have to agree with you on this one. I was playing RE: Revelations Raid Mode earlier and I can't help but imagine how improved it would be with the addition of voice chat, or even text-based chat. There are times where I want to talk to the Host player, in order to decide what stage we should play, and unfortunately we are unable to communicate. With a game such as Revelations, communication between the players is important, especially when you want to plan a strategy, or call a team mate for help. Nintendo is making great strides toward better online experiences, but in my opinion, it has a long way to go.

Re: E3 2012: Every 3DS Game Announced So Far

SageofShadow

Not to necessarily derive from the fact that the list has some strong titles, but this is a pretty weak list for the rest of the year, in my opinion. I'm not too ecstatic about it.

The 3DS needs titles that promote online multiplayer, social gaming communication, and a better for of interacting with friends.

Re: Rayman Origins 3DS Hits North America on 5th June

SageofShadow

Ummm... The trailer says nothing about the game's multiplayer capabilities. Honestly, I love this game; it is a beautiful, challenging, hilariously fun and addictive platformer. Although, without multiplayer this game is nothing, it is not worth it. Being able to play up to four players adds both a competitive aspect and collaborative. I was hoping that the 3DS version would have either wireless local or online multiplayer. If this version does not have multiplayer than it is definitely lacking a rather vital option.

Re: Rumour: Official Legend of Zelda Series Timeline Revealed

SageofShadow

I don't like the fact that someone is trying to create and make sense out of the Zelda timeline. There is something intriguing about not knowing the exact chronological order of a series--in fact, must there even be a chronological order?

If there is order and time, then it is unknown to us and is still coming together, in pieces. Regardless, it may remain ambiguous but that's just the mystical and mysterious aspect of the series.

Re: 3DS Ambassador GBA Games Out Friday in Europe

SageofShadow

I'm glad Mario Kart: Super Circuit was included. I hope it has local multiplayer, I enjoyed this game a lot on my GBA. Any word on the wireless multiplayer capabilities of these games? Kirby & the Not-so-Amazing Mirror is also better as a multiplayer experience, I hope that Nintendo includes local wireless multiplayer. They had it with Four Swords Anny Ed. and it too was free, so I don't see why they should not also do it with these GBA Ambassador titles.
