I am the owner of the original title called Mario Kart 8, released on the Wii U console in 2013. I also own all of the downloadable content (DLC) on the Wii U console, which came out in two different occasions. All of this said, pardon me as I have not deemed it necessary to give Nintendo Co. Ltd. $59.99 USD for what I am seeing to be the same video entertainment. I do understand that the battle mode in this game is superior to the original, but I feel like they should not have changed the battle mode in the last title and they most certainly could have not changed it. All of that said, I am boycotting this "new" release simply out of principal.

Although I assumed this information was common knowledge and went without saying, official confirmation is always settling. However, I will still not be purchasing this because it is essentially the same game that I purchased for my Wii U console in 2013 known simply as Mario Kart 8.

@SLIGEACH_WiiU Evolved? Back in my day you didn't need all of those fancy graphics and features to have a good time. Any number of bits more than 8 is simply put- A SCAM

Spoilers please? Please take into account that even though this game has been out for a week and the majority of people that would pick up this game and played have done so, you need to take into account the small minority such as myself who have somehow not played this game and alter all of your articles and content accordingly

What we are reading is the situation that occurs when a product such as a gaming device or tablet is expedited to reach store shelves before said device is ready to do so with all of the fundamental bells and whistles that amount to a stellar performance. Perhaps with this research they will put their findings towards a revised edition of the console, such as a Switch XL/Lite variety.

It looks neither good nor bad and the music just kind of exists. Seems like life could go on either way if this game was released.

Meh. Neither impressed nor unimpressed. Nintendo is as Nintendo does. I'll be playing my PS4 pro, thanks.

Once again the Wii U is passed for third party support. Nintendo jumped the shark before it even hit store shelves.

Still passing on this game... maybe if they axed SCAMiibo support and DLC I'd dabble but of course Nintendo had to make a quick buck
