I was just thinking earlier what quotes would be ‘the’ ones this time round. And unsurprisingly I guessed right. I’m wondering if the variety gets better as you go through or something because it is a little uncharacteristic of Xenoblade to have the post battle quotes them be this level of repetitive.

A very excellent game, so it gives hope that it’ll at least get more attention Japan-wise.

@KingMike It's actually pretty much like that on the original cart too. The GBC characters are imported from the GBC Mario Golf and only exist on the cart while you have the console turned on. Their stats and everything is solely based off your version of the GBC game so there isn't actually anything missing in a weird way.

It's a real pain to have the slots on the character select screen though. Would've been cool (but unrealistic of course) if they gave them some stats and added them in for this.

As previously mentioned, I thought you couldn’t beat the wonderful spritework of the original, but this certainly matches it!

Gotta agree with the confusion on Kazuma being so high up. Like, he’s fine, but not really much to write home about when you compare him to any other main character from DGS.

And hilarious to see the strange Turnabout Big Top love indeed. Max Galactica even makes it on the best client list! Nice to see that that different countries has different preferences for cases.

@fafonio Gotta agree there. The moment they step foot in the KG, I feel they unfortunately throw nearly all the plot and character development out the window. But that simple group hug just carries the weight of so much tragedy and impossibility, it gets the tears rolling everytime.

Other instant tear moments being the Oathkeeper exchanging hands in KHII and the PauPai fruit scene in III.

It’s terrific game that manages to accurately capture the essence of randomness that makes the actual game so fun.

Unfortunately, I was only able to wrangle my friends to play it once and that was because one of them got it for me as a gift. And yet, I’ll probably get this expansion anyway in the hopes someone will play it with me

Seems a little frivolous to release yet another slightly updated version of it.

Though who knows. Perhaps they’re raring up to do a sequel. Not that it’d likely get released in the West or be much better than the first, but still.

Glad to see that there are other groups out there who appreciate the fine art of using ‘O’ in Puyo Puyo Tetris.

It’s up there with 8-player Ice Climbers in Smash for some of my friends.

@Kanbolara Kingdom Hearts has a habit of getting things announced at its concerts, so it’s certainly not unheard of.

Considering there isn’t much ‘new’ in the way of this concert’s program (and the sheer amount of DGS) it wouldn’t be surprising if it were more publicity focussed for the upcoming port.
