Re: Editorial: Linkle May be a Clunky Introduction For a 'Female Link', But Opens Up Interesting Possibilities

Rosofa

As much as I love Linkle's design, I don't like the idea of playing as Linkle for the main Zelda installments. Will Zelda not be a romance option anymore then? Or will the girls be forced to be a lesbian in the game? Just sounds silly and unneeded.

I don't know why people always need to play as a character that is exactly like them, I'm a guy and I love playing as girls and guys of all varieties. I love playing as people in different situations in me, I love playing as someone in a completely different body then my own. While I love character customization aswell, part of the reasons I play video games as a whole is to get a glimpse at being someone different.

If they keep Zelda's as a love interest, I will be fine with Linkle being playable in future flagship installments, but that sounds like it will spark "controversy" of feminists and SJWs getting mad.

Re: Konami Already Planning Next Metal Gear Game, Presumably Without Hideo Kojima's Input

MGSV was bad, it already tainted the good name of Metal Gear Solid. I'm not sure how much of the blame can be placed on Konami, and how much on Kojima. But one thing is for sure, Kojima doesn't get off scot-free. No doubt he is partly responsible for the game being the disaster it was.
So I say go for it, make a new game. At worst, we get another terrible game like MGSV, and at that point who cares. The series is already ruined from MGSV. And at best, we get a great game that brings MGS back to its roots, since Kojima lost his way.

@Al_Godoy Whether or not you find a swimsuit important is not relevant, censorship is never okay and takes away creative freedom.
Objectification of women is not an "issue", its a made of coined term to control people to stop what they don't like. Everything is okay in fiction. Because ITS NOT REAL. Sexualization of a fictional woman does not hurt real women in any way and does not represent women. Stop thinking every woman in fiction represents the entirety of women. Its ridiculous.

>I ask you. What do you obtain as a player within the context of this game and its story, when you play in a tiny bikini? Absolutely nothing.

That is not relevant, the point is it was in the original game. So we too should be allowed to have it. "You don't NEED that" that the biggest destruction argument to western civilization. It only puts us under control.

@Syrek Then play games that don't have sex and violence if you don't want that. Don't temper with other products
Your shoving down what YOU think is ethical down everyone's throats and saying its okay to force people to think the way you do. Which is not okay.
You don't like sex and violence? Cool. But the rest of us don't need to follow your stupid moral code on fiction.

Re: Netflix Update Goes Live on Wii U

Decent update! I really enjoy Netflix on Wii U. I think its the most convenient and comfortable device for Netflix. It starts up so fast, and its so great being able to lay down in bed and watch. iPhone/Vita/3DS screens are too small, and iPad/other tablets the device is FAR too skinny that its difficult to hold at times. You can't always be in a comfortable position watching on iPad tablet, while the Wii U pad is thick, has grips, and rests.

Re: New Patent Sparks Talk of Potential NX Details

Terrible idea of download only games.. I like to have my games in my control, physical. Ive heard of people on xbox one who have had unfair strikes on their account and bam, they can no longer access any of their downloaded games. Am I going to have to worry about that with Nintendo now? Not only that but I don't like to have to worry about space, those console harddrives fill up fast. I just want to pop in the disc and play. Not worry about if Im going to have enough space for all my games.
